Re: What Did The Air Force Just Launch Into Space?

Hey MORON, how can you be SURE they don't have some kind of small nuclear reactor (like those of the nuclear submarines) hidden inside that thing?

Hey moron dontcha' know that russia and china has nuke sniffers just like we do?

would/could the military use an Energy Weapon / Laser / Scalar Beam Weapon to either move this thing or break it up into many smaller and hopefully less harmful sized chunks? Seems like this might explain the timing for this launch. But then who knows?

Have you ever tried to power a high energy device with a solar panel?

Hey moron, did you know that every piece of hardware that leaves the ground has to have a special license to carry a nuclear payload and is registered with Los Alamos?

Re: What Did The Air Force Just Launch Into Space?
it reminded me of something I read on an old thread that was recently necroed...

Thread: Beware the zombies of doOM! - 2012 (Page 6)

That network had been cut for 2 million years.

So when it came back up, I was surprised, that maintenance had not been done. I still did not know that earth was doomed, I was just surprised that the work that was needed, was not done. Shocked really.
 Quoting: Survivor X 657385

What got me interested in your thread was the parallels that I could draw from some elements you mentioned and a trip that I took. I was shuttled to the moon and given access to a facility where a rogue agent was to be detained and brought back with us. Once we landed back on Earth he mysteriously disappeared while we were transferring him to a neighbouring facility. I was shuttled back to the moon and asked to bring him back.

I will spare some of the details, but a fight broke out and I remember someone from my unit was downed by arrows.

I managed to parlay with the rogue agent and was invited to join him in a device that crushed us to infinitely small particles. It is hard for me to explain what came next, but we were moving really fast over what I can only describe as an infinite carpet of red, blue and yellow LEDs. When we came to a stop, I was now part of his consciousness, sharing his body back on Earth. This is when, I guess you could say, I disconnected and came back to my own body.

You can see why some of the real information you shared here struck home a bit.

I always buck in front of no-win situations, this is why I'm having a hard time accepting that what we have here on Earth is doomed.

You speak of a mutiny, is it still ongoing or are we just submitted to its effects?

Just another orbital craft, we're talking
1950's technology on display today, this is
for the public.. the public NASA, what they
want you to see and believe is the track they
are on, and it is, only the public track.
Meanwhile, the secret space program remains
hidden, sure as Brian O'Leary was murdered
last year.

Yeah, I called you Fish-Fart! Has nothing to do with age, you obviously lack critical observational skills.

I'm sure Mr. AC here knows all about the X-37......Puh-lease! Your resources and concepts are primitive at best. It is rather boring reasoning with you.

Re: What Did The Air Force Just Launch Into Space?
Guys, the thing is independently tracked by people outside of the government, they know its orbit. It hovers over the latitude and longitudes between lower Russia and throughout the entire middle east.

It has nothing to do with the asteroids, you guys drink to much of your own kool-aid, not everything is some giant conspiracy.

It's a top secret device for spying, and perhaps a weapons system, maybe an anti missile system or a first strike launch system. But it definitely has NOTHING to do with asteroids, its been in space before.

So this is basically an orbital drone that would obviously be equipped with some type of weapons and surveillance systems. Imagine a vehicle in space with complete remote controls that you didn't have to worry about manned missions with. Suddenly in an orbit with thousands of man-made satellites you have complete control to zoom around, blow things up, manipulate things, spy on everyone everywhere. Even hit ground targets with laser or other weaponry. Surprised in this day and age that orbit isn't already filled with remote control weapon bots.

....the USA is much more likely to begin building a system to control space, not some silly drone. It would need communications, detection systems, and weapons of some sort for protection from foreign entities.

The USA controls the seas. They dominated this century.

Whoever controls space will dominate the next.

We already have space-based weapons. She is chock-full of the new sensors. Has private comms, top notch encryption, can relay sats, cvns, and U2. She is unique in all respects.

"The 15th shuttle mission, STS-51-C, was the first to be completely dedicated to a secret mission for the Department of Defense. The details are still largely classified, but one alleged story leaked to Aviation Week is that one of the purposes of the mission was to launch an ELINT spy satellite in geosynchronous orbit.

More top-secret missions followed in quick succession: STS-51-J, STS-27, STS-28, STS-33, STS-36, and STS-38. And then something strange happened. After STS-53, the CIA/DoD stopped commandeering shuttle flights for classified national security purposes. Whatever it was they had been doing, had they had enough and didn't need any further surreptitious skulking in space? That hardly seems like them. But from 1992 on, the Pentagon seemingly had no further need for the Space Shuttle's services. And I asked myself once again, what do they know that we don't?"

Shuttle has a private comms relay system. Now the USAF has a private comms relay system. Cheaper than building one from scratch, imo.
