I limit my own internet time so has to not spend too much time in the realm of 'technology'. Children need even bigger limits. Not sure why kids 'need' cell phones. Yes this is the case. My son still has books and reports etc..and I did in fact home school him for yrs..But sending to HS for his diploma. But his cousin who is in a bigger city only has lap top work..no books. My mother who lives in the diff state was in shock when I told her that my son does not have a laptop from school and still has books. |

Yes this is the case. My son still has books and reports etc..and I did in fact home school him for yrs..But sending to HS for his diploma. But his cousin who is in a bigger city only has lap top work..no books. My mother who lives in the diff state was in shock when I told her that my son does not have a laptop from school and still has books. Good for your son! I guess in some areas they still care about a kid's learning abilities...I know many families that have now went to Home Schooling or are in Private School...
