When you become untethered to those around you it's easy to get sucked into a conspiracy as it makes you feel powerful to be connected and purposeful. The fragile minded and depressed are easy pickings for rumor mongers. To create controversy where there is little and disrupt effective communication between those that normally have a common purpose is the primary goal. Look to where the negative dialogue originates to understand it's ultimate purpose.

Conspiracies like these are some of the most dangerous things.
Those who are bracing the four hour YouTube babble on illumimatis, end their altering journey with the conclusion that they've been brainwashed their entire life. But nothing men have ever created brainwashes much like the conspiracy itself. That is the scary reality of what is happening.
People who often ponder the nature of reality come to the conclusion that any new idea that challenges an old idea must somehow be more real than the last. When the fear behins to descend that the world may be out to get you, that's when humans lose their minds. That's why you are seeing this insanity lately. It's the rise in the idea that people are waking up to some veil pulled from their eyes. It's this new illusion they've replaced the old world view with, that is Moreso dangerous.
I think in five to ten years we will look back, and appreciate the power of the conspiracy craze of this generation. And perhaps we will blame our troubles on that entirely.
