Breaking!! North Korea fires Long Range Missile | |
| Resister In God we trust User ID: 1461638 12/12/2012 12:01 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If NK detonated an EMP over the US we would nuke them into the stone age. It would be suicide and they know this. Never going to happen. It's most likely a simple satellite, like a weather satellite. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22151483 You have way to much confidence in a government headed by a guy who wants to get rid of our nukes and doesn't give a rats ass about whether you live or die. We certainly have the ability to intercept a missle and we have the ability to turn NK into a glowing pile of glass. What we don't have is an executive branch that cares about those abilities beyond the results of the next political poll. Remember the Russian sub in the Gulf a few months ago? Remember the missle off the coast of CA a little over a year ago? There are bigger threats we aren't doing a damn thing about. If/when someone decides to light off an EMP attack, our response is highly likely to be too little too late. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29550674 Wonder if its gonna mess with the N. Korean satellite and maybe make it go dark??? Then all the Western powers could chuckle over the satellite being a failure, implying that N. Korea is a failure.... Better a satellite failing IN orbit than loosing manned missions like Challenger and Columbia. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 25140151 12/12/2012 12:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Personally, I think this is a game-changing event. Here's why: (It's generally been known, and even confirmed again by CNN's NK-analysts tonight, that "every missile-system that NK has ever made, they've sold to Iran".) So, given that, and given that NK already has successfully tested N-weapons, then, we see this (long-range missile test now, also successful)...one doesn't have to be a math wiz to see that - the (public) fear declared by Israel of Iran getting a N-weapon (even though the fear somewhat blunted, during the VP presidential debates, saying that "Iran doesn't have a delivery system") is now...right on center stage and the declared "blunting" now, no longer relevant, since they now will soon "have the delivery system" - to me, speeds up the time table, dramatically. It therefore (from Israel's perspective), is no longer an issue of (how many months away is Iran from the N-weapon with delivery capability?)...rather, it's now (how many days/weeks away is NK from transferring one or both, the N-weapon and the delivery system to Iran?). This puts (especially) Israel and potentially Europe, Japan and Austraila in a zone of serious (additional peril) - peril that did not exist prior to tonight. My Conclusion, (like Pastor Dan Bohler's vision, discussed last August), yes, I believe unfortunately (EVEN IN THIS MONTH OF DECEMBER), we'll very possibly see tens of thousands of missiles reigning down on Israel.) May the Most High be praised forever |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27972246 12/12/2012 12:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | .. would it be funny if S.K.s satellite launch attempts doesn't get any further than N.K.s? That would be rib slapping funny. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27972246 funny ? ... fucking embarrassing rather... Oh well take heart, there are a long line of such failures, starting with even the V-2s of White Sands, and those of the former USSR, and all the failed satellite launches of the USSR and the USA at the Dawn of the Space Age. lots and lots of failures. But if you don't try, you have already failed, isn't that how the saying goes? |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 29303680 12/12/2012 12:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | North Korea is taking there steps to true freedom . | FASNYC User ID: 26885382 12/12/2012 12:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think North Korea is ZERO on threat scale. I watched tapes of how people are living there PLUS they give other countries thier citizens for free in Labor Camp. Want links of videos? Quoting: FASNYC I agree with you. However, desperation makes people do CRAZY illogical things. North Korea is literally starving, also subject to continuous sanctions because of their constant misbehaving. Their 'dear leader' could identify with a martyr type philosophy since they are so close to being snuffed out by nature already. My spine Dr moved here when he was little. We spoke about the VICE GUIDE TO N KOREA & N Korea work camps in Siberia. His words "lucky my mom got out" he tells me all the time how the people are oppressed, major cities don't have electricity. The ruling family fucked the entire country, bad. The best part is a ruler that died in the 90.s. The people thier don't have much food but IF you can get a visa to visit you a) stay on a strict Govt tour where they lay out food for 200 but you will be only one eating for the image that there is a ton of food. Thier propaganda is so 1940's and b) they control everything you stay in. Check out this video in YouTube who had a visa and a bridge to get to next place was closed so his tour bus went down a different route, not the normal one and it exposes the conditions... Times are changing! |

Quoting: Kybeam 27604421 Is there going to be a collision later today, tomorrow or next week? ![]() They can, yes. Though it's not impossible they made a mistake. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 26269723 12/12/2012 12:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Cool. Maybe the whole technical issue and trucking in a new part was all a ruse.
