My old boombox never got as loud as my modern boombox. For those looking for a solid built and loud as hell modern box. This is it, has deep bass you can feel. I take this thing everywhere with me in the summer for camping, parties, beach, fires etc. Takes D batteris and also plugs in. Loud!!! [ link to www.amazon.com] hey that is really nice man. i want one. Good night all : ) Best thing i've bought in a long time. Couldn't find any old school boom boxes. This modern version actually warns you when the D batteries are half power and low power. Plus it gets as loud as my house stereo and is more effecient than an old boombox. And it's easy to carry on our shoulder if you want to blow your ear drums out.
