you have to overcook rats so the bacteria dies. Not really much protein there. You'd have more luck with squirrels and they are a lot better. Set you up a few traps with bird seed. They go nuts for that shit.

I think I need a trap like that though because I live beside woods and a river and we have to bait mice and rats all the time. Especially in winter.
Cats around here get the rest.
But the guy from preppers would probably love your advice on catching them even oiled up to eat! EWWWWW LOL

watch the utube videos on bugout bags. many of them have snare wire. it just may get that bad. the world has never seen this kind of debt. it can't go on forever.....
