You must cut your ties. In my experience, the whole ,"your an addict thing forever attitude" did not help me, just made me feel like a turd. People that have never gotten sick like that will never understand. The thing is, opiates make you feel so much better, but the price is too steep and it beats the shit out of you man. You can do it. The hardest part for me was trying to get sleep. Every time I tried to get sleep another ache or hotflas etc would creep in, or being so hot then so cold, plus the emotional torment. That crap chokes out the soul.

Bottom line, cut your ties!
