Has anyone noticed how even the very language we use to describe war has changed? We don't use bombs any more, we use incendiary devices, or thermal, chemical, non-conventional weapons. They are described like they have sentient intelligence. So far removed from humanity and human beings that their use barely stirs an emotion any more. Unless, of course, it's some asshole sitting in front of a computer somewhere screaming "kill 'em all!!" as if their infantesimal IQ even understands what that really means. The bombs don't just get up and attack people! HUMANS have to make them, load them, and fire them! Some PERSON had to make the decision to use them on PEOPLE! What's with all of this trying to hide the human factor in war shit? I'm so sick and tired of being desensitized, redefined, redirected, misdirected, and misled by all of this "polite" fucking speech I just want to vomit! Quoting: Éireann my favorite one is "troops"
