After taking drugs for mine, I found out about this when I went to a new doctor. took 6 months to full detox from the drug which I no longer needed, but I will get restless legs by bedtime if I forget the magnesium. do not use mag oxide, it is nearly useless. use citrate |

No it does not this is BS . Most of the world lives on soy, where is your mind? I had this long before I used soy in fact. however, if one is using all those depleted soy products out there...... that might be an issue. I only have soy some days so why is my deficiency daily? answer that one. Our foods are deficient in it, man also doesn't eat much real food anymore. Plus the ascension of the body uses a lot of it. I have to supplement between 1 1/2 and 2 times the rda of magnesium to keep the legs at bay. |

Magnesium is not easy to get enough from shitty diet. Vitamin D is mainly from the sun but we wear clothes and stay inside most of the time plus that sun scare bullshit scaring us into using sunblock lotion... Quoting: AlcoholicRunner agreed |

Relax your nerves and muscles Build and strengthen bones..................... I had such a severe mag deficiency, I had restless leg syndrome. Fortunately, someone told me about magnesium and I read a book on it also. I researched a lot and decided on using the magnesium malate because it uses malic acid for pain. I think it saved my life since the RLS had become so painful it was distracting and draining. I have used this brand and can recommend it since it is a high dose for a low price. I take two each night and bedtime and sleep like a baby now. [link to www.iherb.com] If you would like to try it, you can save 5 bucks on first time orders at iherb using code BES696. Shipping is low, and service is excellent. Thanks for sharing this info. It should help many people. I sure was glad to find out my life could be improved so much by adding magnesium to it. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19235072 Absolutely, I use this too for sprains and stressed muscles from lifting stuff I should have help with, lol. I like this, but put some in a small spray bottle too. I did not know it would work as a deodorant. I will try that as I am always looking for something that does not contain aluminum. [link to www.iherb.com] |

It's just so sad that too many people don't get this type of info and they just live in stressed out vitamin deficient lives. Everyone who has knowledge of this kind should just pass it on to others, not just on the web, but to family members, friends, even the stranger on the street you happen to meet. What a great way to strike up a conversation! |

There are lots of different kinds of magnesium supps so lots of choices. I researched and decided on the one with malic acid after reading, "The Magnesium Miracle", by Carolyn Dean. [link to www.amazon.com] Iherb does have the full range of choices at great prices- [link to www.amazon.com] The book did recommend the Magnesium Taurate as the best source of supping Magnesium- [link to www.iherb.com] There are so many choices though, I think it is possible to find something that does not make you feel worse than you did before you began taking it. best wishes~ |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 24941531 Netherlands 12/12/2012 11:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Zechsal source is located in Tripscompagnie near Veendam. Here, the layers of salt found 1600 metres underground were created by the evaporation of the Zechstein Sea, an event which took place around 250 million years ago. The purest and most concentrated magnesium chloride on earth is found here. For decades, a company called Nedmag has extracted magnesium chloride from this source for industrial use. During the 1990’s, it was discovered that this mineral is also suitable for use by humans. Only the purest batches are selected for this purpose. The Zechstein Inside hallmark assures the quality of the special extraction process. At the same time, it guarantees the purity of our products. Like I said I used to live in Veendam for more then 40 years of wich I suffered more then 20 years of psoriasis, tried a lot of different things, which didn't work for me, no I finaly found the cure and that in my old hometown. I soak in Epsom Salts (magnesium sulfate) almost every other day! I add sea salt and baking soda to it sometimes to really get a good detoxing effect...its very very important to replenish magnesium stores. I also use a MG+ supplement called ionic fizz (the raspberry lemonade kind is AWESOME) and it has been great for muscle soreness, I find I am not close to as sore as I usually am after a long hard workout :) |
