Re: Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency
I love love love magnesium! I soak in Epsom Salts (magnesium sulfate) almost every other day! I add sea salt and baking soda to it sometimes to really get a good detoxing effect...its very very important to replenish magnesium stores. I also use a MG+ supplement called ionic fizz (the raspberry lemonade kind is AWESOME) and it has been great for muscle soreness, I find I am not close to as sore as I usually am after a long hard workout :)

Re: Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency
malic acid is poison for me. makes me hyper, nauseous and awful. Some who don't get relief for low mag is because of this shit.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward

Perhaps you have a sensitivity to apples?

There are lots of different kinds of magnesium supps
so lots of choices. I researched and decided on the one
with malic acid after reading, "The Magnesium Miracle",
by Carolyn Dean.

[link to www.amazon.com]

Iherb does have the full range of choices at great prices-
[link to www.amazon.com]

The book did recommend the Magnesium Taurate as the best
source of supping Magnesium-
[link to www.iherb.com]

There are so many choices though, I think it is possible
to find something that does not make you feel worse than
you did before you began taking it.

best wishes~ u2efine

or perhaps you have a sensitivity to soy based wax that most apples are covered in to prolong the shelf life

they are quite clever in their ways...

the only meat I consume is what I harvest myself
walk-in freezer still full of bear sausage, venison and boar

coconut oil indeed is wonderful and so is flax and hemp

tell you what
do an experiment
go to your local cafe or starbucks
lookat customers who come in
if they have dark circles under their eyes and look thin and frail they are always the ones who put soymilk in their coffee

ironic you mentioned the hydrogen peroxide. I read some of the controvercial one minute cure book, and I started the program yesterday! I am very interested to see how it works for me!

I have always had health issues (thus the complete turn to alternative medicine) and have cured myself of many problems I had by changing diet and environmental exposure to EMFs...I am wondering how the h2o2 therapy is going to work (food grade and diluted of course...I suggest anyone doing this to read up on it before doing the therapy).

I also read of people using it in their epsom salt baths along with ginger for detoxing/sweating...sounds like a bath soup...cooking out all the toxins!

I use Source Naturals Magnesium Malate CAPSULES (625 mg). I feel that tablets, especially extended-release tablets, don't dissolve completely. I take 3 capsules, 3 times a day.

I am almost pain free now. Was having excruciating leg pain.

I take a 1000 iu softgel of vitamin D3 every 12 hours also.

My insomnia has gotten better too.

Magnesium oil is a very efficient way to get Mg into your system. The skin absorbs it quickly and easily. Also works as a deoderant!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19235072

Agreed, but magnesium oil is expensive. I've been making my own for about 4 years now and it's much cheaper and very easy to make. 50% magnesium chloride flakes to 50% (filtered or distilled) water. Add magnesium chloride flakes to boiling water. Magnesium chloride can be ordered online, Do a search to find the best prices.

The soy bean has been cultivated in the far east for thousands of years
How can it possibly be bad unless it is overprocessed like bleached flour or sugar.

All you have to do is look at how many Asians exist in the world today and that in itself should raise a question or two.

Re: Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency
for the record, i don't need the magnesium enhancement,,but, my heel isn't getting better from walking around in crocs that were to big. Will soaking in epsom salts give me magnesium and help with the heel? Take enough supplements as it is.
