They could have stopped it But they were greedy Now, we all DIE |
| Future Viewer User ID: 1344660 12/12/2012 12:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Asahi: Tepco can’t find where huge amount of highly radioactive water is leaking at Reactor No. 2 — ‘Fractures’ in containment vessel suspected Quoting: DoorBert The operator of the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant is grappling to locate the source of a leak of highly radioactive water in the crippled No. 2 reactor [...] A remote-controlled robot is now scouring the basement of the reactor building [...] TEPCO suspects the radioactive water is leaking from fractures near the pressure suppression chamber [lower part of containment vessel]. It was the first detailed inspection near the chamber. [...] A huge volume of highly radioactive water, used to cool down the fuel, has since been leaking from the reactor, TEPCO said. Quoting: Waterbug There is no technology available to deal with it: as illustrated by the frequent impotent attempts to simply measure the levels of radiation. Those responsible for putting the world in a nuclear holocaust situation like to say.. the solution is dilution. This goes for information dissemination, as well. Get it through your fucking heads. They don't care. We don't matter. Brief and to the point. You're 100% right. thank you :) Nuke the Muzzies! With freedom comes responsibility. Heterosexual pride! ![]() |

An online journalist received an e-mail that he implies was from the former Japanese ambassador but never states that the document originated from the ambassador. Upon receiving the e-mail, Mr. Iwakami contacted the former ambassador. I'm not trying to split hairs here, but accuracy is important in this scenario. The journalist also explained that the situation had been taken care of. |

"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 [link to line-in-the-sand.blogspot.com] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25463516 They could have stopped it But they were greedy Now, we all DIE ^^^^^^^^^^^^this They similarly delayed using seawater for coolant because of damage to the reactors' systems. They also delayed deployment of the SPEEDI warning system.. putting citizens in danger of plume saturation... which indeed is exactly what happened. Don't for a second believe it is, or would be any different here in the US. You will find out later that you have been contaminated. These institutions are completely heartless. |
