Wondering about a Charter Communications flash message to call 877-739-0429?

Yeah, it's either something on your computer or, if that's your ISP, you need to pay your bill.

If I did I would of gotten a warning in my email.

IS that your ISP/cable provider??? It is in a box separate to GLP up at the top of the screen, so it's not tied to GLP. Either it's some sort of garbage on your computer or there's something up with your service that you need to attend to.

I use Charter and got that once when I was late with the bill.

Did you bother calling the phone number on there to see if it's legit?

Now, if you call and they then ask about what you're looking at on GLP...I'd say doom back on

Two things here

1.) You appear to spend ALL of your time on GLP otherwise you would not have made the OP.

2.) You need to find a way to pay your bill in order to keep 1 possible.

This is legitimate from Charter. You likely have an old cablemodem that should be replaced to increase your internet connection speed.

If you don't trust this or me, look at your cable internet bill and contact them at the number printed on the bill, letting them know you received this message.

I just said you likely have an older cablemodem; I have no idea what's current hardware for Charter as I can barely get DSL and have no cable available in my area.

It's a known method Charter uses to get the attention of their customers. Not sure why they wouldn't just call you, but maybe they don't have your current phone number on file.

I'd just call the number on your bill or their tech support number and let them know you saw this notice, they'll be able to let you know what's going on.

You didn't pay your bill, and they are about to shut off your service. Happened to me a couple of months ago - I payed online, but forgot to submit the payment. When you hit 2 months, they disconnect. This is just the warning they are about to disconnect. Either call them and pay or pay online.

I took TV service off but kept my 30mbit internet still. I do indeed need to update my cable modem to a docsis 3.0 modem. Gonna make sure I get the fastest one out there.
