they should be safe and sound if it was a 4.2

We had a 4.3 a month or so ago here and everyone was fine...

but just like that region in Canada... it was rare for us

Can't find the Jack Reed theory concerning the St. Lawrence seaway, but I'm sure someone will shlap it up there. Not good most likely...

Thanks for the post. I'm very interested in Riviere-du-Loup for genealogical reasons. Unfortunately I didn't feel this one in VT; usually I do feel the Quebec quakes.

well today we made history :)

Really did not feel a thing , I remember the last time we had a 4.2 sometime like 10 years ago, I felt the shaking.

felt and monitored here in South Ont. Same spot as others this year.

This confirms that very little energy went to the south, this link is directly south of EQ location.... so East Coast wouldn't have felt much, the energy went towards USA midwest....
