This.As an Infantry rifleman I can tell you my m16 very seldom if ever jammed,maybe once or twice on auto.Ar15's are semi auto carbines.They rarely if ever misfire and if they do it takes 2 seconds to unjam them.

This shit isn't making sense. 60 apparent shots fired and only 3 people hit? Also, a monkey would figure out to pull the charging handle in all of 5 seconds. The only thing I can think of would be a jam from some shitty plastic mag maybe, but thats it.

I agree. I think it could also have been shitty ammo. There is alot of shitty ammo on the market, I only use shitty ammo for target practice and save the Hornady for the Zombies.

Could be some of that cheap ass mexican ammo maybe, probably didn't feed right or something.

He stole the Gun, so that makes him not familiar with the rifle, he most likely didnt set the ammo correctly into the mag ( tap set ) and the rumors of 60 shots fired is false so far.

Most witnesses claim to hear bursts of 5-6 about 3 times, it was determined that the echo effect in the mall compounded by the screaming was the false shot count.

As a tanker on LP/OP during Desert Storm who needed his M16A2 to work and it didn't, I can tell you that the AR platform is a piece of shit. Having to SPORTS on Every. Single. Round. while you're being bumrushed by towelheads is not fun. I will never place myself in a position where my life is dependent on an AR black rifle.

You hear these excuses from the AR crowd? "Maybe he was using plastic mags, or maybe a cheap version (DPMS) AR, or maybe 'shitty' ammo (from Mexico), maybe he was unfamiliar with the weapon..."
