Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19175422 Lame? Well maybe. But the really shitty part for you is the fact that you're a fucking retard if you don't realize where music would be today without the 80's metal phenomenon. Not this faggy glam metal rock ballad fucking BS.. real metal came from the underground, not one of these bands had anything to do with it, they were the system's lamestream version of metal.. In the late 80s real metalheads were fucking with bands like DOOM while you lamestream clowns paid $200 to go watch rock concerts in giant arenas |

Probably because I was bullied by some of these older rockers. A couple comments. They all look pretty thin, compared to obese crowds we have today. The rate of piercings and tattoos is also way less. They actually look pretty mild, but they were menacing for me at the time. Glad they are happy, wonder what they are doing now? |

I'd assume most of them now have full grown kids, and are spending time w/ their grandchildren. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19175422 You must be too young to have any idea what the 1980's were like. They were really great, if I do say so myself. The best music, so much originality. People were way happier, and more free. You could buy a ticket to a concert for $20, no one checked your purse or pockets at the entrance, you could smoke everywhere(even though I don't smoke now), drinks were $2, gas was .95, live bands played at all the local bars, and everyone danced all night. I could go on and on. I feel sorry for my own kids, but it's just not the same and I can't allow them as much freedom as I was allowed.....to dangerous. |

I can't imagine giving my kids half the freedom we had. It's too bad. |
