Why does an all powerful 'God' have to deliver his 'message' through a small group of men 2000 years ago? If 'God' is all powerful, he would have communicated his directives/messages directly to every soul, telepathically. Then there would be no confusion, no corruption,, and no mistaking the decrees of 'God' and we woud live in harmony through everyone of us knowing 'God's' undeniable message. . An all knowing 'God' would have known in advance that a small group of men would never have been trusted to deliver his message and how that message would have been manipulated, censored, and corrupted by the influence of other men, yes? So either 'God' makes mistakes and is not omniscient and omnipotent, or mankind has been lied to by a group of men who sought to control and manipulate others by passing off their self inspired words as the 'word of God'. We know this has been a reoccuring practice throughout history so to any open-minded and critical thinking individual, this should not come as a surprise. He does, you just refuse to hear it. It is more then a small group of men. Look at the ancients testimonies, all religions, all civilizations past and present, all cultures. It takes many years of study but it all paints a big picture and God is at the center. The puzzle, the many pieces create, is one that man can not complete. Send the information through your heart and ask God to show you the truth in all things to start. The seeds of truth are growing in your heart and you really want to believe. Take the leap of faith. You only got your soul to lose if Christ is the way the truth and the light. And if you are right, Christians have nothing to lose but you do. What do you mean I want to believe? I believe in a Creator, and I contemplated on that all my life and realized that all religions are man-made and not inspired by God/Creator. Are you going to tell me that my faith/beliefs are not real unless they adhere to an organized man-made religion??? P.S. you really should think about your choice of words when you encourage others to believe they will/could 'lose their soul' if they do not believe as you. In my eyes that is a form of spiritual warfare and seeking to elicit that type of emotional response / energy in others is not advised. That tactic of using fear to win support has been practiced by the churches for thousands of years and is an insult to 'God'/Creator. True learning and understanding originates from the HEART and fear is not an emotion of the heart, it is solely an emotion of the brain/mind. You know better. +100 well said!!
