it was just the dark underbelly of the capsizing glacier.

with the the clip frozen at 2:03,the dark object looks like a frozen whale eye and head.they find mammoths, why not frozen sea life.you know have black ops dig a hole 20 years ago and bury a mutant whale created by scientists ,labeled later as an ancient whale when it was rediscovered.<sounds like a way to create some history.if we want our name to go down in our 'history' then we must keep inventing stories of them as fame and fortune will be of it for those whom throw into the lot.

It's an icesheet calving or breaking apart over a span of 75 minutes as already mentioned. That's what happens when TONS (like literally metric shit tons) of ice break apart and fall into the freezing ocean.

There is no frozen ship emerging (sure a space ship can travel through space but gets frozen on earth? This isnt Megatron or NBE-1 here).

There is no new frozen prehistoric whale species emerging. And the species wouldnt be new, it'd be OLD as fuck technically. Fuuuuuuuck.

Calving off of a glacier. ie the glacier moves slowly down to the sea, where its leading edge cracks and peels off into the water. Quite large chunks they are, and quite impressive when they fall, submerge, twirl around and reemerge......
