Syrian government forces have fired Scud missiles at insurgents in recent days, escalating the 2-year-old conflict against rebels seeking to overthrow the regime, U.S. officials said Wednesday. Speaking on condition of anonymity, two officials said forces of President Bashar Assad have fired the missiles from the Damascus area into northern Syria.

let um bomb eachother, screw syria! its not worth our soldiers lives, plus i honestly belive the rebels aint no better the assad. once assad leaves then we have these ungrateful rebels turn there backs on us, kinda like the whole egypt thing, let them figh eachother, its a win win for us and to defeate a enemy without fighting is true victory
