Quoting: --Voltaic-- But it WILL force a ground invasion of North Korea. It would be an epic battle. Yeah, mowing down a bunch of stick thin starving chinks would be great... You mean like last time? ![]() Last time we had to fight the Chinese too... Exactly, we were kicking NK's ass, so China had to step in. Also, similar to Vietnam, our military had its hands tied by politician. I think it was MacArthur who wanted to start bombing China during the Korean War. Fuck your couch! |

You would want to get your space systems down pat before you started loading valuable nukes as the payload. Fuck your couch! |

It is headed to the US well I only try to keep all possible scenarios open, chances are this is a sputnik type craft that will hopefully crash harmlessly into the waters of the pacific "the only limits we have are the ones that we set for ourselves.." | Anonymous Coward User ID: 21548336 12/12/2012 05:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The US shouldn't have allowed it to even get to orbit ! Now it can pose a risk upon reentry... Minimal risk, the odds of hitting anything are about nil, especially if it burns up. What is smart is waiting until it is launched to disable it so nobody knows who to blame. If you zap it with a lazer while it is launching, that is easier to blame on someone specific. |

Quoting: RDprofessor It's only supposed to be a 500km orbit. see [link to www.bing.com] Exactly, looks like a stable orbit to me. More than likely when they say it is "tumbling", they mean it is spinning in space, probably on more than one axis, and has not corrected itself. Hence the "out of control part". Remember everyone, space is a vacuum, no amount of spinning will effect the orbit. Fuck your couch! |
