Can anyone else with a IR capable cameras get some new footage from anywhere?

I know that's a lot to ask tho, but wow, what if?

A few years ago I captured still images of similar objects under very similar conditions. In one of the better pics, the object looked distinctly spherical & metallic with a curved shadow around one side. Couldn't judge distance or size though. I wish I still had those pics but they were all wiped out when I junked my PC for a new one around 2006.

The randomly moving objects in your video are probably insects, the other ones... absolutely no idea but they look like what I captured. Could be birds, but the direction of motion seems too uniform tbh. You'd expect to see variation in shape too, because birds don't usually fly so high that you can't make out their shape from the ground. Not sure how reflective they are in IR, that's something I never got the chance to check. You'd guess they'd soak up heat & look dark though right?

The camera I used was a converted Panasonic FZ5 that was broken to start with & glitchy as hell when it intermittently worked. At some point I want to try & get an old Fuji Finepix. They have great zoom capability to try & capture one of these things on video with telephoto. There are LOTS of them from what I've seen!

Are you Lou? If so, what camera & filter were you using? Keep filming & try to get a closeup!

Agreed, this was incredible footage, it was nice in the video when they had the telephone pole in the film so we had a stable object to compare them to (for movement).

Yeah the telephone poles with the IR filter.. good stuff for frame of reference!

The other thing tho I saw a couple times when they were in frame, was some seriously fast, turning objects. really darting around. No meteor -(Geminid Showers, right now) can obviously do that(turn, arc) so in the end, there aren't any real questions left.

I really would love to see more folks trying this, even if all willy-nilly.

One thing we need here, IMO, is someone who can explain the relationship between non deep-radiating IR and stars, planets, satellites, the way a radio emission looks, ok scratch that, the way all radio transmissions(and it's a huge spectrum, I know, lol) emanating from Earth has an influence, in other words; colors it, -and the way that frequency shifted objects appear. Even if the frequency shifting is done on a layer of energy emitted from a device that envelops it, AKA cloaking.

Thoughts anyone?

Most digital cameras are IR capable now. The CCD will capture near-IR light. You can choose to filter out visible light with a homemade filter google 'homemade infrared pass filter', or you can get them cheap on ebay too.

Birds sorry to say not UFOs- look closely and them flapping the wings.

I thought maybe birds too, but I dont see flapping, only pixel jumping.

Living in OZ myself, pretty unusual to have such a spread out flock like that, for such a long time. They'd have to be pretty high up too.

Legitimately, they can be called UFOs!!
