We all have our quirky behaviours...me included...care to share yours?

When I grocery shop I place the items into the cart in an exact manner. When I place them on the belt the are placed in the manner that they would be bagged, ie... Frozen, dairy, veggies, dry goods. I always make sure that I am the one to bag. They seem offended at times, but oh well. I am efficient and finished bagging when the total is calculated. When I unload them at home it's much easier as well.

I do that too. Unload the heaviest items first, so when the Aldi checkout person loads them into an empty cart, the heavy stuff is on the bottom so nothing gets squashed. Then I bad all frozen items together, all produce together, all dairy together, with light items on the top of each bag.

1. I always print with maximum quality settings, even if it is just a word document.
2. Tickling my nose with the corner of a blanket makes me sleep faster.
3. I only eat green foods first. However, orange foods must always be eaten with green foods if they are together.
4. I talk to myself to perform complex tasks. This scares people I have to deal with.
5. Soap that touches the floor of the tub must be discarded immediately.
6. I jump up and down if I have something good to say. This also scares people.
7. I avoid negative numbers at all costs.
8. I always brush the lower left quadrant of my mouth first.
9. Objects that are colored purple that contact yellow objects must be removed or discarded immediately.
10. I pat with my hands when I hug people, no normal hugs.

Just some of my many quirks

Oh god my bed rituals are a thread all on their own,cant stand a huge dutch oven that allow farts to rise easy i try to keep farts imprisoned.sleepin with somebody is hard especially quilt wars when opposing forces pull quilt in opposite directions leaving a massif windy gap it has to be plugged instantly so the quilt has to warpped tight round my back maggot style.fkin HATE cold feet cant stand new pillows too thick or pillows that rustle thats guarenteed to give me insomnia.fitted sheets that come undone and starngle your feet thats horrific,them light over covers that fly around and tickle your friggin nose no matter how mant times you move it ,having to get out the bed to turn light off but waiting 45 minutes contemplating getting out actually DOING it,same with dripping taps.thers more bed quirks its a wonder i sleep rofl

1. I cannot sleep without a fan. Currently I have a whole house industrial fan in my bedroom since the small tabletop or box fans don't do the trick. Yes, even in the winter.

2. I cannot sleep unless the light is on.

3. My food cannot touch each other on my plate.

4. I eat in order too....for example, veggies first, pasta/rice second and meat third.

5. I do not like to drink out of glasses, I drink out of bottles only (water mostly)

6. I absolutely despise when someone reaches over my food to get something on the table.

lol thanks the weird thing is only when i stopped to look at some of my weirdness and acknowledging quirks did i i find i did so many things before that it was a part of my essential me i just didnt see my wife working at a special school with autistic children helped a ton.You woulkd be amazed mate how many milllions of ordinary everyday working people are somewhere on that autistic spectrum i know because the quirks people mention on here.Oh i have loads of isssues and quirks it makes me ,me lol

lol thanks my wife worked at a special school for autistic kids some more severrly disabled than others and from this she come home with info and its amazing how many of our quirks are on da autistic spectrum

I started this thread thinking I was different...I am soooo not alone :)

The towels and washrags must be folded a certain way. If my husband helps and folds them the wrong way, I have to refold them. The towels are always stacked in a certain order.

I like to hang the clothes on a hangar that best matches the color of the clothes.

I won't touch the doorknob while exciting a public restroom.

If a stranger accidently brushes up against me, I must find something to wipe off the area they touched immediately.

I can't sleep without some sort of covering. I have to at least have my lower waist to upper thighs covered.

What a hoot.

i blow my nose constantly for no reason, even when it's as clean as a whistle.

Must be an elephant.

I'm irritated by what I deem to be illogical actions or responses. (like smelling something and gagging)

I'm irritated by people who talk about doing but never do.

I hate people that chew ice and whistle constantly.


Guess I'm pretty weird eh?

I can't drink coffee unless its made with purified water at home . ( * I dont trust other places )
I smoke around 3 cigs a day and have to wash my hair and body after I do =then brush my teeth for 5 minutes ( I hate that I smoke and cannot stand the smell of it on me afterwards ) .
I cannot leave the house without my camera if I do I panic and have to go back home and get it.
I cannot use a cellphone If I do I think I'm getting my brain radiated .
I wont go outside in the rain I think its raining nuclear particles .
I pull out any white or grey hairs .
I have to clean up the house before i sit down on the computer or I feel guilty .
I have to clean out my ears with cu-tips daily .
It bothers me to watch the same movie twice .
In order to get to sleep I have to sleep with at least 5 pillows ( one long body one included ) and have the covers over my head goose down only .
IF i have a hangnail I cannot leave the house untill its pulled out.
I do not like to shop or large crowds and will stay indoors on busy shopping days . If I need to get grocery's I will wait till around 11 pm to go buy my grocery's .
