Choosing a path with the most resistance

I think it's better to choose the one with less resistance.

More resistance only pays off in the longest run.

Ive been on it, still am on it, and sometimes I wonder why the hell I'm on it.

But its worth it in the end.

What if its morally wrong? Would you still take the path of least resistance?

That's what I tend to think as well.

But I still ponder a life with less resistance.

I love dirt bikes.

Sometimes you have to go along to get along.

Which is better, to go with the flow, or to make things happen. I ponder that question a lot.

My problem is that originally I picked the path I thought was the easy one.

Yes I do in fact know that.

Coming from a guy who should have died 100x.

Anything truly worth having will take a lot more effort/time and input.

Be it a car, house, clothes whatever, quality costs more and will take you longer to get. But do you really just want that cheap and easy to grab rust bucket for the long term?

But if the resistance is too great, it doesn't light at all. Even if the resistance is overcome, the light will burn out quickly.

I would suppose one should walk the path on their own terms. How much resistance is too much? I guess only we might know for ourselves.

Certainly others attempting to tell us only makes matters worse...

So I get the choice of how long the 110V is on, can I 1/2 the time if I choose 220V? More clarity but shorter remembrance time as the voltage goes up.

Does resistance equate to despair?

Well dispair is sort of a loss of all hope, and all possible future happiness, I would think that resistance at the very least amounts to a possibility that there is something to be struggled for. Death is easy, after all.

You have to be insane to do that.

No ones asking you to do forrest gump shit.

Just don't be a coward.

Well nobody tries to take the path of most resistance. Some of us just end up feeling that way. Usually it comes from wanting to see the world just a little more clearly.

I lived a while with, I guess, a "high resistance" path.

Having an option to re-choose, I remember being given the impression that resistance is a luxury, like a ride in an amusement park. So an easy path would not have been bad either.

But I wanted some of the experience of resistance still, so I opted for frequent medium challenge rather than blockbusters, and that is what I seem to be getting now.

It's all just experience, I guess if I have this one now I have different ones later, and/or maybe I can learn from this one.

Well I am a real man, married with a family.

As for being a real alpha, I don't know, things seem more complicated than that, though I can act on occasion if I remind myself, e.g. before going to a party.

My challenges currently seem to involve remaining calm in situations that tend to evoke emotion, such as when teachers are being unfair to one of my children in school. Getting hot about it doesn't help; coldly and strategically acting is needed. (One tenured administrator has now "opted to retire" after giving me shit.)

So I don't know if that's "being alpha" or not, but the process felt more like a chess match than a chest-beating contest.

Maybe there's a little warning voice that can steer you away from the directions that won't work out well as you pursue what you seek.

Because I am sure God wants you to succeed in seeing the world clearly.
