Wait. Did you say they have a told you so video?!

Sometime in the future, there is going to be a "massive told you so, enormous shame video event" when the UFO and aliens show themselves. It will be the embarrassment of the millennium event for all the skeptics.

NASA will be shamed to oblivion.

So if the world doesnt end what will happen, the Mayans knew it was imporant. Why couldnt the no-shirted assholes just leave a note sayin hey this is what gonna happen so dont go bat shit crazy my dudes

They didn't say it was important, the calendar just ends on that day and a new age begins. I mean, it's important like how New Year's Eve is important. Like when we had the millennium on our Gregorian calendar. That was a fun time, right? People celebrated because the year was completely different. That's what this would be for the Mayans. Why would anyone think that living human beings could predict the future? That's impossible, and if it were possible, they'd probably be ruling the world right now.

The calendar is all based on astronomy the cycle signifies the earth and sun lining up with the center of the galaxy. You dont think they thought this new age was important to them?

Dec. 21, 2012, has long been rumored to be the day of the Mayan apocalypse, when Earth comes to its inglorious end. The good folks at NASA want you to know that isn't going to happen.

In fact, NASA is so confident that it recently published a video that appears as if it were intended to be aired on Dec. 22. Titled "The World Didn't End Yesterday," the four-minute clip explains how the idea of the Mayan apocalypse was a huge hoax and how the rumors began. A commenter on YouTube jokes, "The correct title for this video: Told ya so!—Love, NASA."

Time magazine reports that the space agency has been besieged with questions from citizens worried that their lives are about to end. NASA is taking the fears seriously, not because there is any danger, but because irrational fears can sometimes lead to irrational and dangerous actions.

Like I said in this thread

Thread: Pope Warns of Doomsday, 21 December 2012? Is there doom around the corner they are planning or something to this date afterall?

Even though the world wont come to an end (the Mayans never said that but a beginning of a New Age and the return of the gods - a spiritual event which most will even fight), you cant blame TPTB for not knowing a decapitating multiple False Flags can go off in major cities around the world that cripples the world economies and send it into a spiral of what will later be known as the beginning of the end. THIS IS THEIR PLAN - TO DIVERT THE ATTENTION OF THE WORLD MASSES AWAY FROM THE TRUE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE EVENT OCCURRING ON THAT DATE OR SOON AFTERWARDS.

The resulting impacts of ECONOMIC COLLAPSE and unprecedented response of WAR to such acts of terrorism will leave no doubt on anyone's minds that the world has changed in that instant or come to an end. This scenario will play out in the months and years to come as they supposedly try to stabilise the world or so they will say. Little will people realise that they are forming and shaping the New World Order right in front of their eyes. But the government will play the blame gain in all this.

Even the pope saw it fit to allay the fears of his followers. But how does he or the government know the world wont end or some event wont occur on that date that sends the world into a spiral (you know, like 9/11?) How can they promise tomorrow? It is not only impossible but outright arrogant.

Plus they even had to respond to such fears to calm people down? What if they turned out to be wrong and the world did indeed come to an end or something did happen on that day? What if these people making these statements of a sort of change happening had some divine revelation of some sort? What will this do to the credibility of the government and the Pope? So you see, this is a checkmate situation where they put on a grand finale show for the world and show an authoritative front because something is about to happen that tilts the scales.

This is a show off telling you that they are in charge even in light of what's coming or about to occur and it will then be your choice who you chose to listen to.....Government, Pope and NASA or your own SOUL.

Obama's silence all these while to all the world problems is supposedly being held up for this moment to act as the saviour of the world and people are only being primed now and they will buy it.

On the flip side of things, even though the government should have never responded to such fears and now that they did, if indeed they are right and nothing happens, then people ought to throw their religious beliefs out of the window and make the pope and government authorities their new religious/moral authority from then on.......Because they become nothing more than sheep from that point for believing them.

They didn't "release" it, it just got out somehow.

This is the same way when news-casters report the results of sports games and elections before they happen. They record information for both outcomes. In the 12/21/12 case, there is only one outcome that requires a recording, obviously.

I KNOW it's disappointing. I wish something big and cool and world-altering would happen in my life time as well, I know we're all tired and worn out from being here, but you're going to have to accept it.

If NASA was so honest why didnt they release last last appolo missions, or blank out so many things in space, or why hide allmost all of there finding. why not tell us about what they found on the moon and mars, and yet it was sooo flooded with alien artifacts that they had to creat a movie of the moon landing on earth beause its just littered with ancient technology. Why dont NASA ever tell us the truth.... i think we all know 1 thing about NASA.. what ever they say think the oposite and its the Truth. The end.

Well yes and no. I mean that's what my little example was for - it was important in the sense that the Millennium was important to us, or that New Years is important to us. New years and dates are of course fun, times for celebration, important chances for renewal and things like that, but anything beyond that is just made up.

I forget how this works. I know the tablets dating system was translated into a specific date in our dating system, but how was it calculated into ours? Supposedly calculated into ours it adds up to 21st December 2012.

And what was that thing I heard about it not being actually 2012 (our year right now) because years were added up wrong early in our calendar system. It was only a few weeks ago. Something about our year actually being 2004 or some shit. Was that topic crap?

^I assume even if this was true, it wouldn't affect the adding up of mayan dates and translating them into our time dates would it? (Though I'm not sure on the dating method conversion).

The funny thing is, we've already witnessed new dates being prophesized AFTER 12/21/12; now it's early 2013 we have to fret about.

If we should be preparing for anything, it's an event that - for whatever reason - cuts off our hub access (3-day supply) to products that fill our grocery markets every single day. It could be an economic event, a world-wide fiscal crash or a natural event like an earthquake.

To be unprepared for the inevitable is the height of poor-planning and it can put a lot of good things and good people in needless jeapordy. The single-best gift you can give someone this Christmas is the gift of preparedness. Now I need to heed my own advice :)

Jesus, absolutely fucking nothing is going to happen on the 21st. How can people still believe it's the end? Nothing happened on the 9th/10th (major dip in the timewave zero graph bullshit), nothing happened on the 12th (supposed start of ascension or some bollocks) and nothing will happen on the 21st.

If the world was coming to an end or to a great change there would be some OBVIOUS, VISIBLE precursor events. And guess what, once nothing happens Friday next week, the same idiots who said it's the end will move the date forward or pick a new date for an equally retarded reason.

I want to believe, honestly I do, but every single prediction about the end of the world in known history has been wrong. I dont see why the 21st will be any different. At some point in your life you just have to stop with the fantasy and deal with reality, as disappointing as it may be. Make the best of a shit situation or your life will be wasted.

I get your point but even with all of that, the government, NASA or the Pope cant guarantee tomorrow. This is a conspiracy talk they should never have responded to or said anything about. The date being 2004 doesn't really matter in the light of the fact that these people saying the world is gonna end or CHANGE might have indeed had a divine revelation of some sort and might actually be right. What if it turned out they were? What will this do to the credibility of the Pope, NASA and the government?

You cant but conclude that this is the final staging ground as they try to re-establish their authority over the minds of the people of what they want them to believe in especially in the face of what will be occurring soon. It will however be the individual's choice who they want to listen to - the Pope, NASA and Government or their OWN SOUL.

No Civilization, prominent group or individual EVER said the world was/is going to end on December 21, 2012.

No one.

Where are they getting this information from?

It's like all of us collectively releasing a statement or a video saying "A-Ha! SEE, the purple goblin DIDN'T descend from Neptune and turn us all into capsicums!" and proudly proclaim that we were right all along.

See what I mean? It's f**king stupid. No one ever said the world was going to end on December 21, 2012.

So what's the point of NASA's video exactly? It kinda makes them look a little dumb.
