Dec. 21, 2012, has long been rumored to be the day of the Mayan apocalypse, when Earth comes to its inglorious end. The good folks at NASA want you to know that isn't going to happen.

In fact, NASA is so confident that it recently published a video that appears as if it were intended to be aired on Dec. 22. Titled "The World Didn't End Yesterday," the four-minute clip explains how the idea of the Mayan apocalypse was a huge hoax and how the rumors began. A commenter on YouTube jokes, "The correct title for this video: Told ya so!—Love, NASA."

Time magazine reports that the space agency has been besieged with questions from citizens worried that their lives are about to end. NASA is taking the fears seriously, not because there is any danger, but because irrational fears can sometimes lead to irrational and dangerous actions.

Even though the world wont come to an end (the Mayans never said that but a beginning of a New Age and the return of the gods - a spiritual event which most will even fight), you cant blame TPTB for not knowing a decapitating multiple False Flags can go off in major cities around the world that cripples the world economies and send it into a spiral of what will later be known as the beginning of the end. THIS IS THEIR PLAN - TO DIVERT THE ATTENTION OF THE WORLD MASSES AWAY FROM THE TRUE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE EVENT OCCURRING ON THAT DATE OR SOON AFTERWARDS.

The resulting impacts of ECONOMIC COLLAPSE and unprecedented response of WAR to such acts of terrorism will leave no doubt on anyone's minds that the world has changed in that instant or come to an end. This scenario will play out in the months and years to come as they supposedly try to stabilise the world or so they will say. Little will people realise that they are forming and shaping the New World Order right in front of their eyes. But the government will play the blame gain in all this.

Even the pope saw it fit to allay the fears of his followers. But how does he or the government know the world wont end or some event wont occur on that date that sends the world into a spiral (you know, like 9/11?) How can they promise tomorrow? It is not only impossible but outright arrogant.

Plus they even had to respond to such fears to calm people down? What if they turned out to be wrong and the world did indeed come to an end or something did happen on that day? What if these people making these statements of a sort of change happening had some divine revelation of some sort? What will this do to the credibility of the government and the Pope? So you see, this is a checkmate situation where they put on a grand finale show for the world and show an authoritative front because something is about to happen that tilts the scales.

This is a show off telling you that they are in charge even in light of what's coming or about to occur and it will then be your choice who you chose to listen to.....Government, Pope and NASA or your own SOUL.

Obama's silence all these while to all the world problems is supposedly being held up for this moment to act as the saviour of the world and people are only being primed now and they will buy it.


On the flip side of things, even though the government should have never responded to such fears and now that they did, if indeed they are right and nothing happens, then people ought to throw their religious beliefs out of the window and make the pope and government authorities their new religious/moral authority from then on.......Because they become nothing more than sheep from that point for believing them.

It's simply about embarrassing the conspiracy community while at the same time bolstering their own credibility. They get to roll their eyes and call out the irrationality of not believing what they have to say. It's a huge win, when nothing happens on 21st. Any it won't. When things start happening after that in 2013 the public will buy into what ever the NASA propaganda machine puts out. 2012 was a master stroke honey trap that nets them credibility while utterly destroying the credibility of conspiracy theorycraft.

So if the world doesnt end what will happen, the Mayans knew it was imporant. Why couldnt the no-shirted assholes just leave a note sayin hey this is what gonna happen so dont go bat shit crazy my dudes

Don't you remeber the nonsense over the 2000 milenium bug that would hit all computer due to the internal clocks not beong designed for 2000?

Even financial institutions took it seriously, arming there systems against a non existing threat?

I have never held out for that exact date anyways. Thats just the beginning of when our solar system starts to dunk into the bottom half of the Milky Way.
