The census being conducted was done at the end of the year as instructed by the romans. Other proof is the shepherds explain the weather and time of year when they were visited by the angel. Also doesn't it make sense that christ is born in the darkest month of the year but brought eternal light for the world. Kinda symbolic don't you think? |
