College is the best choice I ever made
So I went to college and majored in art with a minor in anthropology. I was worried about a job so I went ahead and stayed in school and got a masters in anthropology and art history.

I graduated last Spring. Now I run a military historical museum for the federal government. I do didly squat besides make a few presentations and sign some paper work. I earn $62k a year with federal benefits.

My loans are no problem, just a little pocket change covers them. It helps that my wife makes $70k for the state of Virginia as an agency director. She went to college on loans and grants just like I did.

I drive a new SUV. My wife has a mercedes. We just bought a four bedroom victorian era home.

College is stupid though, isn't it.

Yeah well you are still a worthless leach not contributing much to society. Having lived off those Government student loans, and now working in a BS government job. And what pisses me off is how you put it "I do didly squat besides make a few presentations and sign some paper work. I earn $62k a year with federal benefits."

FUCK YOU.

Society is created by the elite, leeches don't actually harm anything at all, all collapses are engineered along with all shortages and problems.

If you want a job like him, you can get one, just takes some effort and looking around.

There are good jobs that you can have out there, you have to find them.

I don't want a job like him. I dropped out of college after 3 semesters and started a manufacturing company. I contribute. I employ. I create new products, new jobs. He does jack shit and lives off our tax dollars. You can have the whole argument that the system is what it is and might as well profit off of it - i don't buy that. I hold this guy responsible for abusing our corrupt system the same way id judge a crack whore with 8 kids on welfare. Worthless.

Glad it worked out for you, even if you are minority. Doesnt work out for everyone that goes to college. Many get out and can find no job, work at a Gyro shop only to lose that job and go on a mall shooting spree as just happened in Oregon. He apparently felt disenfranchized.

Re: College is the best choice I ever made
Of course your loans are a problem. If you or your wife get fired because treasury yields suddenly spike up from all the borrowing the .gov is doing then you're fucked and you're gonna be stuck with these loans.

And to top if off you bought two expensive automobiles and a house, probably on loans right?

It's up to you, but saving money is the best thing you can do right now. Don't assume your good luck will last, especially when you are gloating about it as if you created your life.

Awesome, good on you.
There are huge numbers of successful entrepreneurs who never graduated from a college.

Like any institution in our society, higher education has it's advantages and drawbacks.
Frankly, it is way overpriced and guaranteed Gov't grants and loans are directly responsible
for the outrageous pricing as well as the growth of 'for-profit' colleges.

I have taught a public university, a public technical college, and 2 different for-profit technical colleges.
In 2007 I resigned from one of the for-profit tech schools primarily because
I was tired of making 60K a year when my graduating (top) students were starting at 75K.
So, clearly school works far better for some than others.
We all breathe the same air.

How do you contribute that to success? You work a government job and your wife works a government job. This tells me you wouldn't make it anywhere near the private sector because you know absolutely nothing than to be a government bureaucrat.

So your combined haul is around $130K and you have two luxury vehicles, a large home and are paying off college loans. Do you have children? I presume not, otherwise you would eventually have to deal with their college costs.

I presume you are leveraged to the hilt? Are you saving anything in your 401Ks? Be careful because easy street doesn't stretch on forever.

You will find that even if you made $50K more, that taxes and a loss of key deductions still limit your ability to save. Without saving and investing there is no way out of wage slavery. Obama is making this impossible for the middle class. By comparison most people in Hong Kong or Singapore can retire as millionaires. The dumbocrats have no idea what they've done to the American middle class.
With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible
