Is Reincarnation inevitable?
Assuming the universe is infinite, why are there beings that haven't spiritually evolved to the level of enlightenment? We've heard of Buddhists or people who've had Near Death Experiences that claim they have experienced non-duality, or the clear Light. However, this article seems to imply that we can only experience "god head" when we have a physical body to come back into to give us reference. Interesting read for anybody interested in NDEs and/or The Tibetan Book of the Dead.

So, is it possible to attain enlightenment and stay in that state eternally, or will you always be sent back into a form only partially aware of the whole source in order for the source to know itself?

Opinions. hf

Re: Is Reincarnation inevitable?
I hope we graduate after this life but worry it might be a time loop thing where we keep reliving the same life over and over again like in Slaughterhouse Five because I came into this life already knowing how a lot of stuff would go down.

Hopefully it's just because this is a holographic simulation I helped program or agreed to before being born.

If you believe in an infinite universe, then you must also agree than anything that has a nonzero chance of happening will happen not only once, but an infinite number of times. We have already been here innumerable times before and will be here again.

Re: Is Reincarnation inevitable?
You reincarnate in this realm until you learn the lessons you need. From their you move on to higher realms. 7 total. Or you may choose to incarnate in different settings where the beings have powerful psychic abilities.

I once had read that your astrological sign dictates how many times you have reincarnated.

Once you work your way through the signs you are enlighten enough to move on from this plain of existence

Both common answers, yeah. The part that doesn't make sense is that these arguments imply there is some sort of spiritual starting gate. Like it's a linear movement from lower vibrations to higher vibrations until eventual enlightenment. It still doesn't make sense in terms of infinity, because my spiritual journey couldn't have "started," it would have to be perpetually ongoing.

I think the karmic law is broken. You can be entrapped after death by the concept of reincarnation but it's unnecessary for advancement.

There is no Karma. There is only grace. Remain in grace or you'll fall back down.

Re: Is Reincarnation inevitable?
you want it simple ?
you would be bored !

there is alaways a search, for you will never be "full"
these are stages and every stage has its own "wonders" for you

inevitable is strange word, if you choose something on your own, for your own, knowing what for..
