Far Cry 3 is one of the best games I ever played

Sweet...

yeah played it last week.\

Took six days to get through.

Lots of PUMP and BURN.

Before playing Farcry 3 did you play the first two games like Farcry 2?

Is it anything like Farcry 2?

LOTS more pump and burn..but not half as long or complicated.

But yes..better.

Although they made the plot too simple.

It need at least two more islands...I was just starting to really enjoy it when..it ended.

BTW..SAVE FRIENDS...you will know what I mean when ya get to the very end of the game.

It has the best things from FC and FC2. It has borrowed ideas from other games as well (in a good way).

OH and this game is free.

Running over Zebras was the best part about Far Cry 2.

I was so stoned that was the only thing I can remember. That and collecting diamonds.

Planetside 2 is super lame. Deinstalled it after 30 minutes.
Felt like a cheap BF 3 clone.

i got far cry 3 free with my graphics card, first 2 nights of playing i was on ultra with no lag, now for some reason i cant even play on low settings without lag, same goes for some of my other games.anybody know why?

I like it and thats what matters. IF you go straight to the big battles then its good for you, when they make the game all the continents and water between them it will be a great fucking game.

I too have never played a better game. Not only was it fun and amazing to look at, it also had alot of masonic symbolism.

When you kill Hoyt, The room you are in has masonic checkered floors and Hoyt directly says that he has powerful friends that will hunt you down.

How is that relevant for GLP?

Try DayZ for Arma II. Very doomalicious and much more relevant to GLP :)

How replayable is it after you've beaten it? Is it like the GTA III\IV-era games where you can keep playing in the sandbox?

DayZ is great fun, ArmA II is a fantastic game as well, due to the editor and the modding community.

I'm playing it right now and...I'm really not that impressed.

Which is sad because I was really looking forward to it. I loved the first Farcry and enjoyed number two.

But 3 just seems...blah. It's very repetitive. Take just one outpost and climb just one radio tower, and you know what's in store for you for 75% of the game. I think 2 did it better. It had better sound effects, art, graphics, and performance too in my opinion. (With the exception of the character models which are very well done in 3.)

I mean it's fun, don't get me wrong. 7/10 I'd say. But I don't see any revolutionary aspect to it. The characters are interesting though!

To me, it's one of those games where it's worth playing through, but after you're done w/the campaign you never think about it again.

GTA spring 2013!!!

My mate was an animator on this - he had a blast making it, ubi have done a really great job on this game, after a slow start (dev wise) they knocked it out of the park - cant wait to get my own copy next week.
