Black lady freaks out at Dollar Store

Well at least i hope he'll try to put a ban on firearms. After the heated discussions between me and GLPers, i came to the conclusion i was right. I'm sorry again that a ban would stop this:

There is plenty of rough dealing in society. Disagreements and selfishness are everywhere.

Sometimes, it has nothing to do with a person being white, or black, or green or whatever.

It has to do with unhappiness.

There is PLENTY of white vs black discrimination. Often, people fear the culture of violence or loud, negative feedback as a means of control will come into a company along with the person. That is discrimination. That is an ugly part of black American culture. Whites have it, too.

Just search your heart on a case by case basis. The Holy Spirit knows who each person is, and will show you.

Don't judge by appearances, but make a right judgment.

Meanwhile, I believe it highly unlikely I'd ever hire a kid of any color who wears his pants low enough to show his boxers and the crack of his butt. No morals or respect there- any color, height or religion. You have to be far off from normal to dress that way.

Sounds like the black lady had a chip on her shoulder to begin with. The OP picked up on it and the cashier probably did too and that's why she didn't greet the black customer.

I live in St. Louis but came from Columbus, OH so I've lived in 2 different areas of the US. I'm white.

Columbus blacks I never had an issue with, nor did they with me. We got along well. One black guy I worked with had an attitude for a while, but then he decided he liked me and we got along famously.

St. Louis blacks: Most are cool, but some have a real chip on their shoulders when it comes to white people. Sometimes you'll come across a black cashier with a chip who is borderline rude to the white customers but when a black bro or sis is waited on, the cashier is happy and friendly and salt of the earth. They'll change from one second to the next, depending on the color of the customer. Those people are racist. I've had other run-ins with racist blacks in St. Louis, but I figure they are just small minded. Most are usually lower class. They are just holding themselves down by acting like that.

So post on a topic you could give 2 shits about.

Not most of them, but Obama wants a race war, and most folks are easily indoctrinated.

There has been so much black on white crime lately, black mobs etc. and not a word from main stream media or from our president condeming it. It seems like within minutes of white on black crime (Trayvon for example) and before all the facts are in, we have all the "Sharptons" speaking out and we have our president speaking out. No one cares when it is a white person who is a victim. Things are getting really scary in this country!

Ha, so funny. This is the lady from Columbus. I'm on fb with a lot of my high school classmates. No black kids in my high school when I went there (I'm 53 now). The school is integrated now.

Almost ALL of my classmates who are on fb voted for Obama. Even, if not especially, the college educated ones-- the ones who should know better given his record. You see, white people who don't grow up with blacks or have many black friends are usually really NAIVE about blacks. They put them on pedestals and want to cater to them a bit. Also, in Columbus, like I said, the blacks are pretty cool, so they think blacks are like that everywhere. Not true.

I've got both black friends and white friends on fb and I call out Obama all the time. The whites from Columbus are in shock, I think. I don't call him names, I just point out his record. My black friends don't say anything, but they know me and they know that I'm talking politics. I've made sure they know I was just as hard on Bush, but I really think the whites from Columbus can't believe I criticize him. It's like it's sancrosanct to criticize a black person. I can feel it. They think I'm very close to crossing a line.

Something similar happened where I work.

It started to get out of hand so the employee called the assistant manager over.

The woman was going off on the employee and, of course, throwing "racist" out right and left.

The AM looked at the employee and saw how furious she was and said "______, it's time for your break."

Then he told the customer pretty much to shut-up or get out.
So, here come the threats and the you-can't-make-me-leaves.

AM says, maybe not, but the police can.

After that she grabbed her kids--who had been tearing open toys the entire time--and left.

The whole thing started because she wanted to try on clothes and the clothes have to be counted before they can be taken in the fitting room.

So it would be cool if I came and derailed your threads, since I could give a fuck about the topic?

You met a jerk in public, how novel. When I was in one of those stores growing up crazy old woman tried to fight a bunch of people including me. Being in public is dangerous man.

Sorry you had to deal with a psychopath doing a little holiday shopping. I have a big mouth and would have probably been flattened, but then again maybe not.

I am in the minority where I live (I'm white) and have had almost no problems. However, there are some blacks that are itching for a fight and hate white people no matter how nice you are.

You were friendly to her in the aisle before check out and she ignored you (which is probably what I would have told her, hence big mouth).

You know she went home and told everyone how racist the Dollar Store is and how bad she feels that these 2 white ladies treated her so badly.
