Kids don't fall for this or try this at home. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27363160 Sorta like when the boss decides he really wants to brainstorm with junior staff, really get their frank opinions on stuff? :). No...and we dont use the word narc here... Just an ex soldier trying to look after his loved ones. Yeah sure we use the word Narc. Just like Dog or stoolie or "Undercover D". I still call Narc. |

Did you read its with iron sights?...and the range only goes up to 400mts :) Any further than that and I can probably just avoid the trouble. No, rifleman and ended the last 3 years as a Combat Engineer. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 27363160 Australia 12/13/2012 07:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | dont have anything. can't be screwed joining gun club in order to get one. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10044371 but i think having one for self defense is a sensible idea... it's just too difficult... A rifle?..No its not. You dont have to join a club. All you need is a letter from Department of Sustainability and Enviroment ($11) and say you want to hunt on Crown Land...thats all. |
sssss User ID: 29164028 Australia 12/13/2012 07:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well im prohibited from owning a gun because i got caught with a camping knife tucked away in my cupboard. Quoting: sssss Hows that for justice! Must be more to it than that. Surprisingly their isn't! The only other thing i could possibly think of is i dont have a drivers license and have been disqualified. By the way do you have to attend 6 range comps a year to own the hand gun of yours? Anonymous Coward User ID: 18236950 United States 12/16/2012 04:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OK, so everyone in the US thinks that we have lost all our firearms, can only have single shot, bla, bla, bla...all not true. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27363160 This is for the Aussies. Im a bit of a collector as well, so Ive got over 15 firearms. Love my Marlin 1895C in 357Magnum...10 shots of pure speed. Love my Israeli mauser in 308. Hitting a 12 inch steel plate at 400 mts is not a problem, with iron sights. 12 gauge double barrel AYA is beautiful for close up work. Nice Remington 700 in 223 for the in between work. And for the short stuff.... being a member of a collectors guild lets me buy pre 1947 pistols , no problem....lots of great choices! Couple of 38 revolvers. Tiny little Berretta 1934 in 9mm Corto (380 ACP) makes a great tuck away gun. I believe if TSHTF, last thing you want to do is pray and spray...pick your shots and practice, practice, practice. And remember, over 600000 SKS got imported. Only 200000 got handed in :) So... Tell us WHERE those weapons are stored. And c'mon now... Tell the truth, or I'll have to blow your story. |

Any help be much appreciated. Quoting: Unbeliever 13765424 swords are legal and unrestricted, as are machetes, axes, and sticks Swords are only legal if they are NOT double edged or sharpened.
