The controversial hippie evangelist Lonnie Frisbee tells his own story twenty years after his death. In this first volume of a three part series that Lonnie audio and video taped prior to his untimely death in 1993, he "sets the story straight" about his life. He takes us through his involvement in the much publicized Jesus People Movement speaking from his personal perspective. Lonnie Frisbee is considered by thousands to be the major catalyst to a modern day revival which was birthed in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco in 1967, hit the beaches of Southern California, and swept across the nation and the world. Two huge church movements were subsequently birthed with Lonnie blazing the trail. Thousands of young converts were delivered from a lifestyle of drugs, sex, and rock-n-roll, to a born from above experience with Jesus Christ. The Jesus Revolution of the late sixties and early seventies overshadowed the Great Awakening as the greatest ingathering of souls in American history. Lonnie predicted that just like with Samson in the Bible, God is going to use his death – to reach people for God – than in his entire ministry on earth. That is a huge prediction for all of us to watch.

I met Lonnie in 1977. I met him at Jon Bressens house. I was working on Jon's car, and later went inside. Lonnie had spoken a Shilo Christian Center.

I sat with Lonnie as Jon and his wife cooked. Lonnie proceeded to tell me about my life... I have no problems with Lonnie having problems. God sees the heart. Rahab lied, and was mentioned not as a lier, but a woman of faith.

David wanted to build a house for God, but was promised a son, like abraham. Davids son of promise, his prophesied son, came into existence through sin, adultery, and murder.

God fulfilled his words to David though murder, and adultery.

Moses killed a man, this man was there at the right place and at the right time, inorder to be murdered by Moses. This fulfilled Gods plan and sent moses into the desert, where Moses met God in the burning bush.

To condemn Lonnie is typical of churchianity.

Those of us who are in the ecklesia know a different truth. We know God, and his ways. It is life to us not religion. This was the thing that happened to all those Jesus people, they went from LIFE, and into a system, called church.

But those in the body, infused into the Spirit (placed in the Spirti) have a different reality.

We know the difference between, sins, and sin.

We see the difference between the scriptures, the word, and the words of God... There is a big difference between the three.
