EDIT: Not that the government will honour its obligation to respond even if the petition does reach the required 25,000 sigs in a month. Last Edited by NSF001 on 12/13/2012 10:13 AM I don't think so, he's up there with the others laying low, vying with those who you've traded your life to to bless your soul, |

[link to www.youtube.com] I'm trying to find out if Ukraine recognized Syrian opposition today in Morocco. That would be ironic wouldn't it, since they begging Syrian regime to help them with the hostage situation. |

Urkrainian Journalist set to be Executed Today Mother of Ukrainian Journalist kidnapped in Syria appeals for her life on eve of scheduled execution (today, Dec 13) Quoting: DoorBert So sad. It appears the journalist is a female also. I feel terrible for this mother, I am a mother also and feel her pain. Executing a journo is fairly extreme, and the demand, $50 mill was never going to be met and the terrorists knew this. I wonder what she saw or found? Good questions. I wonder also as you are correct, they were never going to get 50 million. Why would she be worth 50 million.? Why kill her? They have killed so many others what makes this one any different? They should have demanded Assad step down to save her, that is what they really want right? I think Assad should have stepped down a long time ago if nothing else but to stop the blood shed of his people..if he actually cared about them you would think he would have done this. |

Quoting: NSF001 From what i've learned they always ask absurd sums of money but the 50 mil takes the cake for sure, even for average Syrian citizens the ransom asked averages $500-800 thousand, people can't pay that money off course and most kidnappings end in execution. Depressing. :( |

I think maybe the government felt paralyzed to act, if they had went in to rescue her and she had died in the process all kinds of shit could have been spun. |

I honestly dunno, seems to be expensive these days, inflation i guess, hehe. If the Saudis gave the same amounts of money to the people of Gaza and not the psy-op Hamas, things would be better there for the average peoples imo. Goes to show what are the elites priorities. |

Uh, because is NOT an ordinary journalist. She operated what is likely a FSB/GRU front "travel agency" to Jordan, Syria and Lebanon prior to the war. Then somehow turned into "independent blogger" with unique access and oddly enough, parrotting Kremlin's narrative/position practically word-for-word. She was even proudly boasting on her blog that if she ever got her hands on "krysyata" -- little rats, as pro-Assadniks refer to the Syrian Rebel... She was bragging that should personally KILL the rebel's children. Like typical paranoid pro-Kremlin operator, she also was claiming that Israel is behind it all, and that her grandmother was Palestinian who was ethnically-cleansed by "Ebbyl Juices"... So Palestinian-Ukranian... who pretens to be Russian.... plot thickens, as they say LOL So I guess rebels got tired of listening to her boasts, threats and her snooping around all over Syria... and kidnapped her ass. Which is NOT to say that I think rebels are the good guys here. No, they are first-class Pieces-of-Jihadi Shit. I mean, she's a first-class big-mouth HO', no doubt but it doesn't mean she deserves to be tortured and publically murdered, either. And obviously I feel for her mother. It must be absolutely terrible for her. |

Urkrainian Journalist set to be Executed Today Quote from Vladimir Putin's autobiography, "First Person." " One should never fear such threats. It's like with a dog, you know. A dog senses when somebody is afraid of it, and bites. The same applies here. If you become jittery, they will think that they are stronger. Only one thing works in such circumstances - to go on the offensive. You must hit first, and hit so hard that your opponent will not rise to his feet. " . |
