There has to be administration but people want to feel they have some independence. Some choice. Some need a cause and are never satified with the status quo. Causes are for fools. I don't think anyone really wants that though. They don't want to be bothered. I prefer control and order. A decent civil society with good order, respect for law,the authority of the state and your fellow citizens where individual needs are modestly met without chaos is something to aspire to not reject. We have a govt here that is willing to scour the world and do whatever it must to serve it's benefit/agenda and with some of that largess passed to the citizen. That is their job,purpose and ensures the great machine rolls foward. A single governing body that governs,ensures each citizen is affored their small portion of the pie[shelter,food.healthcare,luxuries,access to eucation,career] and maintains order,demands citizns treat each other with respect and civility doesn't sound so bad to me. Maybe I'm just a well conditioned sheep like my best buddy insist.

Honestly, my personal, Christian, opinion; God gave us dividing lines because if there is only one ruling government or system (Tower of Babel), then it is 'their' system, (1984 comes to mind) which all men will have to bow down to, no one would be capable of believing as they chose. It would hinder people from being diverse, from living, worshiping and believing freely.

The Bible is clear that Satan wishes for a one world system so that he can rule his way. God protects man's free will, even those who choose against Him, by creating a world that is diverse. And if one is having tyranny pushed down his throat he can leave that place and go to another...in a one world system...you will have no place to run.

God planned it out so that we would seek Him out and be free to do so, but also to protect the wills of those who choose not to. If it were up to Satan, anyone who didn't bow down to him would be 'disappeared', God doesn't work that way.

And although there are places today where this happens, if possible, these people have a place to flee. Exactly why God destroyed the tower of Babel as this was the very first one world government getting ready to give birth; with it comes one world government, then religion and then everything that identifies you as an individual will be taken away.
