I agree, but some of the more militantly un-Christian will see it as Christians trying to take over the site and push their agenda. So of course they will go in and slug it out, pushing their agenda. Simple facts of life in the real world where all sorts mix. Best thing would be to only attend sites that are agreeable to your agenda. That would be a shame though, because the entertainment value, of people protesting their positions, with their ears stuffed against counter argument, can be hilariously funny.

People like you (I'm assuming your an atheist, but we'll keep it simple, non-Christians) are obviously either a) secretly seeking God, or b) just militant in nature, seeking argument. If you truly were "sick of it" you would just ignore it, but instead you encourage debate/discussion.

I understand, but the point of Christianity is to "spread the gospel" and in doing such, Christians find other Christians on sites like this and wish to remain in contact. Like the real world, sites like these represent small cities on a large continent (the web) and as such should be a place for everyone. It doesn't take a rocket science degree for someone to stay out of a place they do not wish to be, i.e to read or attend...Christian threads. Just like if you aren't Muslim, although there is a mosque in your city, you just do not walk in. I say that those who don't agree with Christianity get what they deserve when they jump into such threads...no one forced them. In fact, just like you, I think it amuses some, rather than offends and they get a kick out of raising a ruckus. Sometimes that is very apparent.

I know other forums have special compartments on their forums and GLP could have one for all different beliefs and one which is purely for debating. I know it isn't set up that way and as such, we should just try to "all get along" in the meantime. But, for what its worth, I'll never understand why atheists concern themselves so much over what another person believes. I mean some religions believe in reincarnation and I hate the idea of being made to return to this hell hole, but you don't see me bashing them every chance I get. That's their belief and I leave them to it.

yes, although you use different words, you are stating your intent to press your agenda. As long as you demonstrate a belief that your world view is worth more than someone else, they will weigh in on you.

Op it's true God Father, Jesus Christ , Holy Spirit are real they are not fake or made up. It's not about religion but a relationship. Do you remember the movie the matrix? You are in a prison for your mind, body and spirit. That prison is sin. If you were to just fight one day against the sinful nature I assure you it would be difficult. I'm 30 yrs old I was formally In the Marines. Now I serve but not this Gov't I serve God. Think about it why do so many people talk about Jesus Christ if it's a myth. He touches people and people get to experience him. Which is why no matter how much people go against him they will never overcome. The Matrix movie gives an example of what's truly happening. Sin is the prison. To be set free is to recieve God's spirit. Which gives you power to overcome sin and be free in him.

What do you think God would have to say to you as far as how you go about "representing" her Creation?

It's this....how can you be so sure about what it is that you are communicating with?

Is it all comprised of just Earth bound humans?

Reading about heavenly spirits in a book, and meeting them for real?

Like apples and dump trucks. The two can't compare. Reading about it gives you mental impressions.

But actually experiencing communicating with a consciousness that exists beyond our little bubble here?
