WTF? The court costs ALONE here is $60.. That's not including the fine and surcharge..
Quoting: 422 $100 is more than he had at the beginning of the day, and he still chose to take the car. There is the bus, there is walking, cycling, or many other forms of transportation that would be less than both the gas AND the ticket for driving that expired car. Usually just big cities have buses, public transportation sucks anyway. So he should expect, or we should expect, every cop to give us money to pay for it? Or continue further into debt? Public transpo may suck, yes, but it's a way to get around a big city. If it's a small enough city, walk the 45 minutes to work. That's what I did. How does he and his family get to the grocery?
