A Facebook video showing a three-year-old boy being abused by his stepfather has angered many users of the social networking site.

Police have picked up a mechanic in connection with a child abuse case following a release of a video showing an adult man physically abusing a toddler on social networking site ' Facebook', yesterday.

The 32-year-old suspect was arrested by the police following the release of the video which was believed to have made several days ago.
The nearly nine-minute video which was first posted by Facebook user, 'Vasu Amaithi Padai' has since received 17, 278 shares during press time, with many users expressing outrage and demanded the police to take action against the individual and the video-maker.

I am so suprised that poor child didnt get killed in that video.

I would not be one bit suprised if he had massive bruising/broken anything/concussion/fuck knows what all.

Absolutely sickening. So So sad.

I had to take breaks watching it, my stomach was absolutely roiling.

Stopped watching after he threw the kid on the couch. What a piece of garbage. If you want to punish your kids, that's one thing, but what this shit stain did was assault. Sounds like a woman's voice in the background, maybe the one who was filming. God only knows what he's done to her in the past. Atleast he's been arrested. People like that deserve death. I was spanked as a kid, even with wooden spoons. But I was older than that kid and did dumb shit. No Loving parent would ever do what that fuck did to their kid.

My dad treated me like this when I was growing up... I'll never forget it... It haunts me to this very day... Beatings and humiliation almost every day for no reason... Then on Sunday mornings he would force us to go to church and fake this happy family bullsh!t... I resent him to this day for the abuse... I feel so bad for the little boy in this video... I was in his shoes 30 years ago.... He will grow up to feel nothing but seething hatred towards his father....

Hell, I got beat with a paddle in grade school by the principal..
