Countdown to Doomsday pt 11 -structures-

Housing.

Depending upon the size of the clan (which is looking small now due to disbelief over the future events of the 21st), we will have to build housing and small stuctures for shelter.
If the clan is small say less than ten at first, then we will have no problem wit shelter, the selected cave is large enough to house 8-12 people comfortably. For those who aren't in the original clan, housing will need to be erected.

we will build simple structures to protect from the elements. Each person who wants to build a structure will be responsible for gathering material for it. I expect there will be a lot of help from the community in gathering these materials. If lumber is available that will be used. If not we will harvest logs, and build with them.

Although we will have expert concrete builders in the clan (for sure), we don;t expect to lay foundations for these structures do to lack of concrete in the post 2012 world.
We will have to build on the ground. Walls and a roof will suffice, with a hole in center of the roof for smoke to escape.

We will survive, we will be warm.
