'Fat soldiers' booted: 1,625 dismissed over weight

Could have just sent them back to boot camp to get them back in shape.

Too much beer. Every soldier I've known is a binge drinker lol.

they all go straight to the dole, collect disability.
it's a scam like 90% of the US.

What about these fat ass cops I see everyday and I mean everyday they look 300+

i was just about to post that now a review of cops nation wide. these people work for us and they need to be the best they can be...

After Desert Storm, I got back to Germany and intentionally gained weight... drank as much beer as I could. Ate a lot of sweets, because fuck the Army. Closest thing to communism that America has to offer its citizens.

The company CO came up to me and said, "You don't care much for the Army, do you?"

After the war, I'd been pulling a Maxwell Klinger, walking around the barrack wearing a long white Saudi robe, sandals, and a chicken hat.

"What gave you that impression Ken?"

"I'll make you a deal. You pass your next APFT and I'll sign your early-out papers for the convenience of the DoD..."

"That's a deal Ken!"

If a soldier wants to get out of the service,now he/she knows what to do.

Can't follow the rules, your out. They do give you warnings and a time table to get fit though. At least they did over 20 years ago when I served.

We dont have resourses to fund that.... Especially when they have everything they need to stay in shape, where they are located.

Unfortunately they would lose some very healthy benefits. It's pays to be obedient.

I made it several years "overweight"

I was 6'4 and allowed 205 lbs, I was 225. Always passed tape though.

The problem with this isnt that soldiers are fatter, its the standard of soldier they allow in in the beginning. They lose weight in basic, then get lazy in their career and get fat.

Well at least all the rest now know how to get out.

Just start eating boys and girls, lol.
