Who's not Having Christmas Dinner this year? Financially Strapped.

I have told my friend to apply to the food stamp program and look into the food banks in her area. I am going to get her some food also but I can only do so much- I have bills,family and a dog with cancer. I'm blessed so I believe in helping local people so I can be sure they really get the money as opposed to organizations. We know where that money goes. Thanks for your suggestions. I will also research where to go for help in her area (since we live in different counties)

As of today, 2 orders shipped via fed-ex today.

We have a problem for one of the orders. I need the person who made a request with the initials.... S E H.... to email me.

PayPal messed up the order to the vendor. I'm hoping your following the thread.

Keep in my mind, I was overwhelmed with responses. Literally, I have hundreds of emails (GLP, Yahoo and Gmail). With everyone trying to maintain their anonymity, things are bound to break down.

We have done our dang best to make sure things went smoothly and we had some changes.

If time gets too crunched, we can at least send money via PayPal or Western Union or whatever means necessary to make you have a happy holiday.

P.S. The 6 orders that are in... will make it before Christmas. The company won't gaurantee a delivery before 12/28 at this point, so they are out of of the picture now.

Whew! Next year I'm going to do this very differently and hopefully have more support to help more people.

I'm near Verklempt over the wonderful people that participated. You are all amazing beings. What more can I say?

No good deed goes unpunished. To the person who impersonated another member here on my thread, please know karma does work. Thanks to you, a member did not get their order. How low and despicable some people can get. I'm so angry I could eat through a mack truck!

And I think I know who it is: shame on you!! I hope you enjoyed the dinner. Did you con the other generous members too? Someone is gonna call you out. I will not but if I noticed it, someone else will also.

Anyone that was shorted in any way possible, please GLP email me. We will take care of you no matter what. We know who is who by now. It's too late to cash in on ignorance at this point, so please don't try it.
