How cheap! You are getting a free advertising amongst th0usands of people and in return you are giving a hungry family a paltry 2 pounds of turkey? Cheap ass! Why not double the portion so they all don't have to have a small serving of turkey. Or give out 5 of these meals as you are getting lots of exposure to your website here. How do we now these people will even get the meal and that you are not just a spammer? Green Bean Casserole? Ewwwwww....
 Quoting: Terpsichore

Aren't you a breath of fresh air, bitch.
And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

I am an evil giraffe, and I shall eat more leaves from this tree than perhaps I should, so that other giraffes may die.

For those hurting , heres my tips on survival in a emergency...

Some can borrow on their 401K and you just pay it back gradually from your paychecks, if needing a emergency purchase...

Plasma pays bonuses for first time donors.. often times 50 bucks first two visits

You have to be clean, no drugs, no recent piercings, tattoos, diseases or health probs. Expect each visit to be 1-3 hours.

Plasma is made into much needed medication that many people need. Many have a nickname for it and call it liquid gold. its a Multi Billion dollar industry.

Dont let payday loans scare you, The laws recently changed to where you get months to pay them back, But of course, if you pay them back within a month, you will avoid that high interest.
Its no longer just two weeks, if you need a month the interest isnt bad at all. See the terms of the various places but Gov, has changed the laws of how they operate.

Many Credit Unions now are reaching out to new customers with up to 5,000 dollar loans, at 5.9 percent interest, Again, I dont advise that much and esp with the interest , but I know many can pay it back via tax returns...

Hope I helped people, Been there, done that

Love you all...

For all others btw... Please dont think its competition OP cause Im only trying to help those that will still struggle to buy.

I was shocked to walk into Target (which now has groceries) and they had frozen turkey breasts (on the carcass) for avg 7 bucks with a gravy packet ! Its a good deal when you dont want to buy the whole turkey. Im into marketing and I do food reviews, so its a little bit about me you all dont know.

Turkey = 7.00
Gravy = free
Onions french fried =1.99
Cream of Mushroom. 59 cents
Frozen green beans 1.00
Sack of potatoes = 1.99-2.50

Christmas dinner for 13-15 bucks

Hope this helped.. I saw this special at Target.

13-15 bucks to feed a family, Not bad !

What incredible prices you have on food there in the US ! IF you own a home and you don't have to pay rent I think you wouldn't starve even on a janitor's salary...

But I'm sensing you're being a bit condescending there Apollo, it's not the size of the gift it's the thought that counts !

That's a very sweet gesture !! You have your priorities straight.

I will have dinner... just having it alone.

My daughters live in other states and I hate leaving home, so I'll be wishing I had accepted invitations and offers... but really - I'll use my time to do some introspection.

I might even volunteer at the local soup kitchen.

Have a wonderful CHRISTMAS !!! hf

What a nice offer. You are showing the true spirit of Christmas. I don't need if for my family but there is a lady I work with who has had a hard life. She lives with her brother who is a piece of work. He doesn't contribute much to their living situation but he is all she has. She has a sour outlook on life and I try to help her with food and take her out (I think he takes her food sometimes.) I plan on getting her a portable heater this winter since I know they don't have heat. If I could get that Christmas dinner for her I would be so grateful. I truly believe I make a difference in her life doing what I can for her. I would love it if you could make her Christmas a little brighter. Thank you for being a good person for whoever you decide to help.

This is a very nice offer. However we discussed Christmas dinner this year and decided we just wanted something simple like spinach quiche and salad. Light the candles, add a little wine - maybe eggnog and voila.
 Quoting: Alexander

That sounds wonderful. Screw tradition. A little food, a little wine...loved ones.

Good Lord...that is what we should be living for...not this fake "chestnuts roasting by an open fire stuff.

Seriously though...just feed those you can. That's all God wants from us. Share the wealth (voluntarily of course)!

OP...I'm so glad you started this thread.

I don't like Christmas. One year many years ago we couldn't afford a match stick to light a fire, let along presents for the kids. That day I started hating Christmas. WE had to go to a family thing and I never felt so humiliated in my life. If there is no Christmas there is no sad people, missing what they don't have. Other than buying gifts for an angel on the angel tree, we have communion and forget about the rest.

What,no chestnuts, no stuffing, no pie? Not even parsley sprig to break up the monochromatic monotony of the outside bleak meh-niss? turkey 2lbs beige, potatos 24oz beige, gravy 24oz beige, green beans canned 24oz shade of old mold.
