Me too Brief. I voted "unsure", because I think I just normally feel that way.

When I got the text, I didn't even look at the date, really...just gave the automatic response, "yes, of course, we'll be there." I told the kids when and where and my 15 year old said, "Mom, we can't go then!" I looked at him like he was crazy and he said, "Think about it!!!! The 21st!!"

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....Eeeeeeekkkk!!!!! They don't even have a basement!!!! What if we die driving? What if? What if?

Anyhow, lol! 6pm EST

Maybe the kids and I will all "get sick" or the car will "break down."

I voted "unsure" because I want to be around my loved ones, but not necessarily at home. Perhaps I feel the need to protect them from something? But what?

I always stay close to home.

No thanks and im never alone in an area that I dont know.

Im usually in by 9pm, I dont drink and drive, and dont participate in high risk activities

Unfortunatley, this is what TPTB want. They want us to feel scared and unsafe. Big mental tug there.

Recently yeah, after I began looking into prepping I realized that the Lord has been prepping us for years. We have loaded up on enough food & drinks to last at least the whole winter, a reliable well with access to enough fresh water to last us for years if not decades. We also got a concrete bunker in the basement so we probably got the best protection from tornadoes in the whole town. Plus its kinda nice to have relatives that run 3 separate farms just north of town.

At some point we may have to bug out and stay in the wilderness up north, but that's years away in my opinion.

^^This plus we are having our first cold weather of the year and that makes me want to stay inside where it's warm and cozy.

and I have plenty of fun, and enjoy life to the fullest.

So dont go and say I sound "paranoid" or boring.

Maybe if you didn't spend precious spare time on sites like this you wouldn't be feeling so paranoid.

Sounds like you are a well rounded person!...Do what feel right to you!

BASED ON the possibility that a Flare from the sun could occur, be HERE in 8 minutes FLAT, meaning my car would NOT operate...MEANING I would be WALKING home. I have trouble walking around a store, so probably NOT make it if it were over a mile or two.

Hope you feel that good at nearly 85, lol !

As far as "home" I am feeling more lost lately, more like I don't belong anywhere I go. I live in Monterey and the beach even feels wierd. And the night sky...it seems, well, closer and colder.

And here is a REALLY weird one. I am scared at night usually. I can feel those cold spirity things...ghosts if you will. Well lately, I don't feel them...at all.

Its like they all left...weird, I know...

most sheepeople don't truly know what its like to be away from their home. When was the last time you were alone miles fromm home without your car,phone, money for a bus ride; With nothing but space and time separating you from your home? Experience is everything.

It's December, it's cold, the roads are jammed with mouth-breathing shopping zombies... who the hell wants to go outside?!?!?!

LOL I have been more than 15000 miles away from home...W/O my truck or car...On foot...Until I found a horse to get me to the next town!

I enjoy going out, but only to make money. Sounds sick, but when i didn't have gigs (musician), I couldn't afford to go out and hang or anything. Never was a bar hopper either. I don't drink except when it's open bar on a job. I dislike spending money and really dislike the materialism associated with Xmas.

Lately, I've been working and like to put on some tunes and cruise nice and easy to my gigs but I don't enjoy the crazy drivers in Chicago when I travel. And those photo-cops that take a picture if you go over the line at traffic lights, sheesh! Give me a break.

And to think that most people are oblivious to the power struggle going on to squeeze money out of the population. Everything has a price tag on it, including our freedom.

My home is my sanctuary. It always has been. Maybe people are finally realizing that peace comes from within and does not require external stimulus to achieve happiness.

I want to be close to my hometown. Not close to home but close to my parents
