police do-gooder stories... contrived?
first the cop buying shoes for a homeless man in new york (without evening knowing his show size) and now this other cop in texas giving a guy he pulled over $100 to take car of his car registration...

it seems like a trend, and i guess it could very well be kind people that are helping, but, my GLP sense of skepticism and gloom makes me go hmmm.

could there be more to all of this than meets the eye?
could this all be contrived for a different purpose?

what do you think?

Contrived. Even if they are genuine stories, the image they are painting is a contrived, thought out image. There is very little news coverage about the unarmed people who are gunned down and killed by American police every single day.

dude you already know, don't need to come on here and ask the shills about it... they will always try to make it like something is wrong with you not the system. THEY control the media, THEY choose the stories to run, THEY are the ones with an agenda. Its obvious to anyone with any sort of intelligence

yup with all the bad internet press on cops, the (real) press is doing damage control in their way.

Cop saves man from getting shot in robbery.
what they don't say in the (real) press, is the victim was then tazed for resisting arrest.

I'm sure some of them are true but, knowing that the main purpose of the mass media is to brainwash and influence the public's perception of the world, I must assume that some, or even most of those stories are fake.

Re: police do-gooder stories... contrived?
Thank you

I happen to know a fair share of police officers. Most of them are good guys and really do care for the average citizen. They care about community and their part in it.

They're trying to make up for all the dog killing they're into.

Be careful who you label as the 'enemy'

DHS has listed police officers a possible domestic terrorists. Why? Because they're not completely indoctrinated into the govt scheme...yet. But they're working on it, and one day they may be successful.

They want to pit the citizens against the citizens, and yes, the cops are citizens too

Divide and conquer...gov meme these days.
 Quoting: Chip

Exactly.

In my opinion, it's the govt controlled TSA we need to worry about. A small organization. Yet They've broken more laws and constitutional protections in the last 10 years than all the police in the past 100 years.

Crime per capita, it's the tsa who are the real thugs

Re: police do-gooder stories... contrived?
Not necessarily CONSCIOUSLY contrived.

Whether you believe every conspiracy theory, a few, or are a die hard skeptic, the facts are, we as humans have created systems for ourselves to function on this planet.

Just as humans, some systems were created with good intentions, many were not. Many of the ones created with good intentions become corrupted.

Having said that.....it is an easy days works for a reporter to report on a police officer doing a good deed. Everyone pats the police officer on the back (whether he did it for fame or just out of good nature), and everyone pats the reporter on the back.

Especially during Christmas time, these are the stories that start to come out.

Are the stories created to manipulate you into thinking differntly or changing your beliefs about the systems we live in? I don't believe so. They are just easy, positive (seemingly) stories that make everyone (seemingly) happy.

Now, these stories should be taken with a grain of salt, and just that. Happy go lucky stories.

If you start thinking anything else, such as "Hey, maybe the world ISNT so bad! Maybe Police arent bad!" etc, then I'd say it is YOU who is manipulating YOURSELF.

Same if you think these stories are being contrived to manipulate peoples opinions. I'd say you are being overly paranoid.

These stories have always existed. As I said, its an easy story for a reporter. It is a nice change from the terrible news we get everyday. Everyone is happy (seemingly).

I understand we need police to keep blacks from killing themselves, but seriously, stop enforcing drug laws.
