When a meteor or satellite passes over the facility--ping!--there is an echo. Click on the button to listen to a live audio feed: [link to spaceweatherradio.com] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24599086 [link to www.meteorscan.com] Just refresh the page every few minutes - they are coming in bursts. This page is best really hey [link to www.merriott-astro.co.uk] !? The Chedder and Dartmoth scanners are the closest to me - Bloody Fog,I want to see these things dammit! The Fog is strange,it resembles Smoke as it has a strange kind of hue to it,and like I said it is ongoing for the last 3 Nights. This morning pre-dawn in mid Nebraska, Spica, Venus, and Mercury all had a Pink hue to them, very weird. I think we are getting a considerable dusting of very small space dust floating down unburned. Are you sure it wasn't due to the Dawn rise of the Sun and corresponding Colours created in our Atmosphere as a result rather than Space Dust? Quoting: Artaius I can´t ever remember there being so many Gemi, Leo, Tauri, fuckmenids in one year. I remember some years ago that there was talked about only one shower in a year and it was marked as a big event. Not we have one every two weeks or seomthing and falling satellites all along. Yeh, sure. You're pretty delusional and uninformed, aren't you? ...Actually he's right. Activity has been extremely high for 2 yrs now. Its suddenly like showers are constant. But then I guess half of us that spend our time looking at the skys our entire lives must have been sleeping the entire time. Again he's right, you hear about them when they are coming. 1x yr or every few years. Now its all the time. Doesn't mean Jesus is coming but your an idiot if you take it as normal. A pattern change has been well established.... Its like the BS about Pilots suddenly all mistaking Venus in the sky. Or the fact that they don't tell you unless you look for it about how the magnetosphere is shifting faster n faster. They just had to change the Run ways again.... OR well the insane record braking of every type of event/weather on the planet. The reason GW is being brought back up to give you all a nice excuse. And were not talking hundreds; where talking hundreds of thousands this year alone... There will come a time when you believe everything ends. This will be the beginning [Louis L'Amour] my flickr [link to www.flickr.com] |

Quoting: meteor nutter We also now have live radio feed on the merriott-astro.co.uk site, although sadly limited at 6 concurrent users so patience may be required. :o) Hey meteor nutter! Can you explain why the Dartmoor - Peter Bradley station usually shows more activity than the rest? [link to www.merriott-astro.co.uk] Ostria |

Can you explain why the Dartmoor - Peter Bradley station usually shows more activity than the rest? [link to www.merriott-astro.co.uk] That station is approx 1000 feet high, therefore sees a wider area of the radar reflections taking place, making it more sensitive. It also is using an antenna array instead of just a single antenna, so looks more active than the other stations. |
