Last night, NASA's network of all-sky meteor cameras detected 56 Geminid fireballs streaking over the southern United States.

Wait...what? Fireballs?
But according to NASA and scientists, meteor showers are just dust fragments the size of a grain of sand.
So how does a piece of dust produce a fireball?
