Would be cool if there was also an all-sky-telescope at the location the monitor is sensing.. like this all-sky-view in Hunstville, AL. : [link to fireballs.ndc.nasa.gov]

Although if you used something like SpecTran FFT Spectrum software and used your audio from that site as input to the Spectran you would see something like you are seeing in the Merriott-Astro site.

My sons and I saw four within a few minutes here in Fairborn ohio. I was pretty surprised considering the hour and the extensive amount of light pollution from wright patterson afb. Last night was quite a show as well!

I went out about 10 min ago and even though there is a low cloud deck, saw 2 flashes that lit up the clouds about a min apart. No storms are predicted so maybe fireballs !

Re: Meteor Scan going nuts !
Saw two back to back at Kansas City International Airport about an hour ago. I wasn't even looking up at the sky and a bright green streak lit up the parking lot. I thought it was lights on a private plane, and when I focused on the light it split into three pieces. It had to be close. Of course then I was looking for them and saw a second one a few seconds later.

This morning pre-dawn in mid Nebraska, Spica, Venus, and Mercury all had a Pink hue to them, very weird. I think we are getting a considerable dusting of very small space dust floating down unburned.

There has been a hell of a lot of UFO sightings in the past day or 2. My guess would be that they are looking at us right now and assessing what we have become.

Our sky has been strange lately as well. They say it's cloudy, but there isn't cloud so much as what looks like a dirty thick fog up there. Day and night, there isn't a delineated cloud to be seen... I've been calling it a dirty, soupy fog up there. This isn't, or should I say, wasn't something we saw.. now it seems to be the norm. Very weird.

Yeh, of course the officials need to come up with something for sure...

I can´t ever remember there being so many Gemi, Leo, Tauri, fuckmenids in one year.

I remember some years ago that there was talked about only one shower in a year and it was marked as a big event.
Not we have one every two weeks or seomthing and falling satellites all along. Yeh, sure.

 Quoting: Artaius

You're pretty delusional and uninformed, aren't you?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29348827

...Actually he's right. Activity has been extremely high for 2 yrs now. Its suddenly like showers are constant. But then I guess half of us that spend our time looking at the skys our entire lives must have been sleeping the entire time.
Again he's right, you hear about them when they are coming. 1x yr or every few years. Now its all the time. Doesn't mean Jesus is coming but your an idiot if you take it as normal. A pattern change has been well established....

Its like the BS about Pilots suddenly all mistaking Venus in the sky.

Or the fact that they don't tell you unless you look for it about how the magnetosphere is shifting faster n faster. They just had to change the Run ways again....

OR well the insane record braking of every type of event/weather on the planet. The reason GW is being brought back up to give you all a nice excuse.
And were not talking hundreds; where talking hundreds of thousands this year alone...

Nice screen cap...

So am I to assume there were around 9 meteors entering the upper atmosphere based on each trace, how should one interpret the information if they were looking to establish the amounts falling in that moment?
