To not die is to be as a god. That's what you believe.
Why are you ranting about organized religions? The subject is the Holy Bible, not the Church system. The Bible specifically warns of the corruption of organized religions, repeatedly.
You only wish it was written by religious elite, but the Bible reveals itself as the inspiration from God, and not of the minds of men.
If anyone has been indoctrinated by man-made religion it is you. I'm sure you have poured over literature written by cults in your history.

You accused me of thinking I'm a 'God' because I believe that the soul/consciousness survives the physical death. INCORRECT. Kind of hard to have a discussion when you are not exercising reading comprehension, nor are you asking questions before making false & incorrect assumptions. P.S. if you believe that your soul lives on after your physical death then by your own standard of judgement, that means you believe you are a 'God'. So which is it? Either you cease to exist when you die or you think you're a 'God'. Those are your words, not mine.
