Triangle forming on the sun. -AGAIN

With all the booms, lights in the sky and meteor detector going nuts. I think this should be

top part of sun is all dark...

!! Looks like a huge coronal hole on top half too

For those more sleuthy, you can look up historic images direct from NASA for that date.

Personally, I just Google-Image-searched for "solar triangle" and found several copies and filtered versions.

I live in Northern Virginia, Sun was very bright but some very high clouds. Around 3:30, I was at a stoplight and noticed what at first I thought was the sun (to the south of me, that must have been obsured by a cloud, but there were like a few rainbow colors underneath. Then I pulled up a few more feet at the light and could see the bright sun just to the left. I did have sunglasses on, and when taking them off the effect was not as apparent but still noticeable.

Weird thing is about 20 minutes late I went to pick up my son from school, and noticed that the same light was there, but much larger in more of a triangular shape (but curved). Then when going down my street,looking now at the opposite direction from the sun, i see through the trees I a very bright like spotlight shining through. It was blocked a few times, by branches, but I saw this very bright light (small like a star -- but it was still light out) I figured, must be a helicopter and I should get a better view once I make some turns and trees are out of the way, yet there was no plane or helicopter once I looked in the direction with an unobsucred view.

I may be on edge, but these two things happening within a half-hour were really a bit strange.
