Thanks for the reminder Dr. If the weather permits, I'll do time lapse photos and try to capture them. We regularly have clouds this time of year.

If anyone has a tripod and the ability to lock open shutter, then you can most likely capture some. Most digital camera will have a basic open shutter setting of 15 seconds, and the ability for max aperature open. Bring extra batteries, as you will wear down the batteries much quicker doing this. Oh, and extra Sim Card for the space needed to shoot hundreds of 15 second exposures at max detail.

Yes it is! I'm the only one in my house that's remotely interested in watching. I'm with you and could stare at the sky all night. Got me a glass of vino and a blanket and enjoying the show.
