Thanks for the reminder Dr. If the weather permits, I'll do time lapse photos and try to capture them. We regularly have clouds this time of year.

If anyone has a tripod and the ability to lock open shutter, then you can most likely capture some. Most digital camera will have a basic open shutter setting of 15 seconds, and the ability for max aperature open. Bring extra batteries, as you will wear down the batteries much quicker doing this. Oh, and extra Sim Card for the space needed to shoot hundreds of 15 second exposures at max detail.

In Pennsylvania and its a clear night. Went out back on my deck and saw 6 so far. Going back out in a little bit. I'm a sissy with the cold weather.

it went pretty slow broke apart and turned into two smaller ones before it burnt out

cloudy here, won't probably see a thing

Seen two nice ones and several flickers already, eastern Nebraska, quite a few city lights but so far awesome. Going to crash for a few hours later and check it again around 2:30 a.m..

ahhh well it sucks anyways

nothing worth seeing

so don't feel bad about it, you arent missing anything
