Have my beach lounge chair all set up on the deck out back. A little cold but we do have clear skies here tonight, yay! Problem is I have no idea how to find Orion. I sat down to test out the view and saw three streaks in a fairly short period of time so I must have gotten lucky for someone with a horrible sense of direction, they were really distinct and quite bright! I'm going back out after 10pm EST. I hear that's the start of peak. This is very exciting!!! Oh no.....I think I'm a dork :(

It is a crystal clear night here in NH so I'm grabbing a beer and slipping out into the freezing 101 degree hot tub. :)

I will even have a perfect view of that part of the sky.

Clear in Nc, I'll try to get out around 10p, sip some wine, watch the show. 38 degrees out..damn!

Dang it. This is the first year in a long time that I could watch a shower (clear skies), but am not seeing a darn meteor. I'm scanning the eastern sky from North to South, from horizon to straight above. Nothing. *sniffles*

I just walked outside and looked up and saw three of them in the matter of two minutes. Going to go back out shortly. Thank you for the reminder!

Thank you for this thread. We have super clear skies here tonight, and I will definitely set the alarm an hour earlier to get up and hopefully see a few with my little girl. On that note, earlier alarm means time to get ready for bed!

No clouds on the north-east tip of SC (Longs) tonight. Was out for about 20 minutes and counted five. They are approaching from the north-eastern direction.
